Its the telegraph, and it seems a little nebulous a match headline to article.

I love the disconnect of the liberal/leftwing/misfits.  Here is a sentence from the aritcle:

"through closing tax loopholes for oil companies and removing various tax deductions that benefit the wealthy."

Doesn't anyone notice or give a shit that NOBODY ever sets forth in detail what the tax loopholes are for the oil companies?  What about all of the other companies?  What about all of the companies that have long since left?  What loopholes ONLY benefit the wealthy?  Please don't be so stupid as to say "Capital Gains" because that discussion has been done to death.

Here is another great insight from the article:

"Figures revealed yesterday showed that US manufacturing grew at its slowest pace in two years in July as new orders contracted."

Maybe if we raised taxes, it will spur new orders.  Sure...if we raise taxes it will probably increase manufacturing too and probably cause a whole bunch of people to decide to open manufacturing plants of all sorts in the country.

Will someone PLEASE tell me how increasing taxes will create jobs.

doesn't anybody give a shit that NOBODY ever sets forth in detail how raising taxes on companies will spur the catastrophic decrease in orders they ain't getting even now?

New orders for manufacturing dropped in July, after a relatively strong two years in this economy comparatively.  Didn't we just insure no tax increase prior to that?

Doesn't anyone notice that the 'arguments' presented are always cum hoc ergo propter hoc ?

Show me your chart to substantiate your assertion that we had two strong years of manufacturing prior to this July.  Give me a chart for the last 10 or 20 years.  With car sales in the toilet, housing starts extremely low, unemployment at its highest sustained level in more than half a century, show me where the two years preceding July 2011 were so strong for manufacturing.

A word to the wise: whatever else the editorial staff of the Torygraph might be, they aren't liberals (even in the yank sense) or lefties.

You show me.  Give me the the last 20 years of every tax increase and decrease charted against GDP, normalized so that we can see those two variables only devoid of any other influence. and then we can see its direct effect on the economy. I have done enough homework for you.

didn't you quote this?

Yup, by god you did.  if july is slower than the last two years, relatively speaking.......

Don't play stupid games with me.  If the past two years were shit and July was the shittiest, that doesn't suddenly turn the preceding two years into gold.  You are WRONG and you know you are wrong.  The past two years have been shit, this fool's presidency has been an abject FAILURE.  The remaining year and a half of his presidency will also be shit.

You don't know it won't be another five and half years of shit: I can't see the GOP putting up a credible candidate to take any responsibility for the mess their last President dropped your country in at this stage...

The last president did nothing by comparison.  Unfortunately that becomes more and more apparent.  We are still in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, now in Libya, cash for clunkers, the stimulus the QE2, talk of QE3, the largest federal budgets in history.  Sorry, Moon, W. Bush looks like George Fucking Washington compared to this fool.  W. was a flagrant spender....this piece of dog shit gives any reasonable person apoplexy!

So why weren't you bitching about the debt ceiling being raised when it was a Republican rather than a Kenyan raising it, then?

I was.  You are a very one dimensional thinker.  I opposed W.'s spending.  W. was a better option than that corpulent swine Gore or that other piece of garbage Kerry.  The quality of our leaders has been in decline for a long time now.  Things have happened to the U.S. that have proven irreversible: the war on poverty, open borders, the immigration act of 1965.  What have I ever said that lead you to believe that I was a fan of Bush?  I have said repeatedly on this board that HW Bush was the third president to herald in "A new world order".  The first was Wilson, the second FDR and the third was HW.  Three enormous globalists.  But then Clinton was a globalist, so was W and so is The Kenyan.  So...taking republican and liberal out of the equation, you have still had 22 some years of globalist thought guiding this nation................to death.

He is mad because the Obama administration has deported so many illegal immigrants and he might have to hire people properly if this keeps up.

Don't be a cretinous argumenative strawmanner.  Begin by reading.  Then work your way to reading comprehension.

Read what I said, only what I said, and keep it in the context of what I said, don't run around like a hysterical perimenopausal drag queen imputing your histrionics into what I said, then saying I said it.

The abject failure is larger than Obama. One does not destroy the US economy overnight: .we've been at this awhile, it has made the news for  many, many years.

However, there were many, many people who did not take it for what it was, and many who don't take it for what it is, Congress; for example.

Does anyone know simple math skills anymore?

From your link:

"I think he is in increasing danger. The whole argument against him that he has been there four years and there are no jobs, that he has failed, will be an increasingly strong argument," said Mr Borosage.
