This last month has been crazy crazy busy, and yet dead also.
My regular, paying the bills job, dead. But I have to be here so however dead it may be here has no bearing on getting anything else done.
The photography stuff is exploding. I finally got the website up and running but with limited photo examples as I have yet to recover everything lost on my crashed external hard drive... that will take some mad cash I haven't got.
Motocross still going strong. Had the two grands, that are not addicted to the fumes of racing fuel, for a whole weekend.....oye, two little ones not fully potty trained for a weekend is NOT my idea of a good time!
The two that are addicting to racing, will be spending one of their few, motocross free, summer weekends with me, next weekend. That should be a blast.
Got through the raspberry picking and now waiting on wild black berries. No apples on the trees this year so no made applesauce making and canning....both a "Yay!" and a bummer.
Had my 13yo nephew stay at the farm unexpectedly because of my dumbass oldest brother thinking it was a brilliant idea to bring him back to Iowa from Colorado, for a month......without a plan as to what the young man was going to actually DO while they were at work. Apparently dumbass brother and his cunty wife made the youth feel very unwanted and uncomfortable so I got an impassioned plea phone call from the lad's father, asking if the boy could stay with us. I couldn't take time off work to entertain him but apparently, hanging out at our house with dogs and a big screen tv is better than hanging out at another house where there is tension and dumbassery.....who knew!
Still loving the gym and yoga when I can get there......wish that was more than 2-4 times a week but hey....it is summer and busy.
Still working on the flagstone patio project.......as can. When the temps shot up over 95 with humidity over 80% I just cannot force myself until evening hours when the sun isn't blasting. Wish it would rain. I am tired of watering flower and veggie beds. There are huge cracks in the yard BUT, the up side of that.....very little mowing! Except, the poison ivy invasion has not been slowed by lack of rain..... Every few days I grab my industrial size sprayer of Roundup and patrol the property. I am not allergic to the stuff but other family members are. Generic Dude doesn't even seem to need to touch the stuff to get it horribly. He's even had to be hospitalized in the past. I don't want to listen to all the bitching and moaning so I am on a mission to eradicate the shit. Ma Nature is not a helpful accomplice.
Generic Dude has been gone a lot. This is his slow time of year business wise so he has been taking several short vacations. One was a big fishing trip in northern Minnesota and another was a motorcycle trip with his mom and her husband. He also had his big 3-0 class reunion that took up an entire weekend of festivities. Today is golf......rough life!
As for BDSMy type stuff.....a girl that has visited me in the past, was supposed to visit in August but broke her foot terribly last month and had to have surgery. So that has been postponed until all the medical stuff is over.
