Just realized that August is half over! yikes.

I'm almost finished "tour" season--have a few more dates left to go and then I'll be rock and roll retired for awhile....expensive hobby but worth every nickel.

Been keeping busy with ClubFEM and a new group that just started, and working so many jobs now that I barely have to time to clean my own house let alone the Households on my schedule.

Still holding out for that special woman who I know is out there somewhere. Until then, it's me and the maine coons.

Nice to see Lady Hugs again.

I have had a good August. Worked my bum off (yep, I'm sitting directly on bone). We had horrible flooding in Korea, worst rain in over a hundred years, people dying in the mudslides, the roads and subways unusable, etc., and the rain is still coming! It affected my life in quite a big way for over a week. By default now I carry an umbrella. Sigh. I have had some minor surgery (I'm fine) but still reeling from some of the aftereffects. I visited the Calibirthday via skype and was so glad to be included. That was a joy - some familiar folks and new folks I'd never talked with before. Sweet! I have started cooking more and I've made a few changes in my life, but all in all things are good.

I'm on vacation for a couple more weeks and prepping for the upcoming semester as best I can. I've been very creative during this break, and I've been able to get a few things published (yay!), and even more things rejected (sigh). I started doing some more art work, and I'm quite happy with it - I'm a dreadful visual artist, but it has brought me great happiness just to do it.

Biggest problem in my life right now is I can't find my dang passport. I MUST find it - I had it replaced a year and a half ago, and I just can't go back to the embassy with my tail between my legs again! I have a couple of international trips set up for the next few months, so I gotta find it or replace it. I know it's in my home somewhere, and I've been tearing the place apart. My bank book is with it - I remember putting them together. Grrrr. Anyone wanna come help me?

Wow, having always hated the "have you found your perfect servant yet (from total strangers)?" question, I've always avoided the roll call thread.
I'm happy to see this is where you see the former aquaintances/friends though. Welcome back LadyA, and LadyHugs. M (RI)

I'm doing aaight. Moving, to less expenses. The little one is amazing, and back from vacation. Still trying to get him to speak one or 2 more languages; but the sagitarian in him only responds to reverse psychology, being allergic to being told what to do ( no idea where he gets that

). What's a mom to do? without saying..../!!!

Yes indeed! Has been that long since we have seen one another. Life does make it difficult to keep up with other folks, when the 'town square' is under construction. LOL
