If it is an ISP email, yes, with a warrant. If it is a web-based email, no, unless you added your address to the email's profile and set it to public. With a good bit of social manipulation, a hack on the email's password, and a blabber mouth in your contact list, it is also possible. For the normal Joe Schmoe, not really likely. There are ways to increase the layers of protection around your anonymity. Things like short use email addresses, SSL connections, gpg key encrypted emails... True anonymity is hard, but not impossible. Question: Why is this in the "Ask a master" section?
