The fucking building simply wasnt designed to have other buildings fall on it.

If it wasn't, then it ought to have collapsed immediately when something fell on it. It did not.

Instead it stood like a rock until suddenly one specific column was taken out. That is the smoking gun.

mnottertail -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 6:44:59 AM)

Where do you come up with this shit. Collapsed immediately, give me the physics of the necessity of that. Tell ya what, while you are at it come up with a scenario that fits for the Titanic. And why the leaning tower of pisa has not fell.

If you are gonna have the theory it has to match all reasonable data or have an explication of why that is not reasonable data, or does not apply.

Why didnt the chair collapse last week instead of yesterday?

Does the trees moving make the wind blow?

FR

Hmmmm who to believe, someone like Musicalbordom who actually saw at least some of it, or a neurotic paranoid idiot with unfounded theories. Tough choice, anyone care to help me out?

Rule -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 7:21:41 AM)

Me! Me! [;)]

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 7:28:13 AM)

Not likely...

He thinks that he saw an event that lasted approximately 0.02 seconds.

quote:

Most people assume that what you see is pretty much what your eye sees and reports to your brain. In fact, your brain adds very substantially to the report it gets from your eye, so that a lot of what you see is actually "made up" by the brain (see Seeing more than your eye does). Perhaps even more interestingly, the eye actually throws away much of the information it gets, leaving it to the rest of the brain to fill in additional information in its own ways. A characteristic pattern of connections among neurons (nerve cells) in the eyes of most animals (including humans), termed a "lateral inhibition network", is a significant way information is thrown away. Lateral inhibition helps to explain a number of "optical illusions" and, more importantly, provides an excellent example of how the brain is organized to actively "make sense" of the information it gets, rather than to simply absorb and respond to it. In so doing, it provides some valuable insights into the sources of our sense of "reality".

The above quote is from here.

He is nonetheless far more believable as he was actually there whereas you have sat on your computer developing theories that are progressively more and more paranoid. Yup I think I'll continue believing Musical.

You'd rather believe someone who has been fooled, instead of the person who has determined how he was fooled by his own brain?

quote:

In neuroscience terms, misdirection relies on the fact that the brain has a very limited supply of attention. Over the past decade or so it has become clear just how scarce attention is: focusing on one thing can make you oblivious to other things that would otherwise be obvious.

This bizarre phenomenon is called inattention blindness, and it was famously demonstrated in 1999 by psychologists Daniel Simons and Christopher Chabris of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They made a video of six people in a circle bouncing two basketballs around. When asked to count the number of bounces, around half of the people who watch the video fail to notice a man in gorilla suit walking through the middle of the game and beating his chest.

How do you know your brain hasnt fooled you into believing you werent fooled, particularly since you appear to nearly everyone gathered here to be an utter fool?

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 7:43:10 AM)

No, I'd rather believe someone who was there! Awww fuck how do I get sucked back into stupid discussions like this one? [>:]

pretty worthless shit unless you have affidavits and witnesses that what you say is true.

No record not there.

mnottertail -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 7:49:42 AM)

Thats what we been trying to tell you dipshit, you dont have witnesses, affadavits to forward as proof of your retarded asswipe.

Pff. I have a cognitive faculty that most of you lot lack.

Admittedly my brain can be fooled, yes. I have had a couple of cases of pareidolia.

However, I am certain about this: two planes never took off; the other two planes landed safely elsewhere.

The Titanic never hit an iceberg, it was blown up and sunk by the owners to collect the insurance money.

God, I love conspiracy theories.

mnottertail -> RE: There was a plane! (8/20/2011 7:54:15 AM)

You dont have brains enough to poor piss out of a boot, son.

There is zero evidence of cognition in anything you have shared with us to date.

Where did they land super-genius?

And where are all the people on those four planes?
