How did you find that out? (that would be the point, you see, if there was any reason, fact or logic here).

Giving him one iota of attention simply plays into that agenda. He has exactly as much power as he is given.

All those democrats that came out to vote for BO and it still couldn't pass?

Unlike the GOP, the Democrats* don't march in lockstep, so they can't achieve anything through block voting.

*(About as far left as the brokeback coalition in real terms, but apparently that isn't an issue in American politics.)
