What Rush is, is a portal, an outlet in other words for people the left have attempted to castrate for decades. If you want to get rid of the poison, address it at it's source. I don't listen to Rush, but if I did, it would be because I'm tired of being engineered by people have a demonstrated track record of failure. I don't have to look up every fucking position some politician took to see that either. I just have to mosey on down to the local school.

Are you serious?

The left won't live and let live?

Do I really need to document the right's attempts at implementing their social agenda?

The left wont allow live and let live. Who is standing in the way of same sex marriages?

You tell me Tazzy, seems to have passed in quite a few states.

Were those Christian conservatives that supported it?

To clarify, I did not say I found him (or anyone similar) to be entertaining, but that what they do is classified as entertainment. They are like any other form of media entertainment - they have advertisers, they are subject to ratings, they are paid for their performance.

About half of the population, which encompasses more than simply "the right."

Mostly over a battle that did not need to have been fought the way it was, and the way it will continue to be fought. A great deal of that opposition is centered around the term marriage. Do you not think the SEC should be looking into this?

Or would you be happier if the credit downgrade continues so you can get Obama out of office, regardless of the harm it does to the country?

The right's not been doing the intellectual thing for quite awhile. Now it's devolved into lowest common denominator, throw 'em the meat stuff. A hell of a lot different than the Buckley approach.

Rush says what ever gets the best ratings, which increases the amount of bucks he can pull down. (Oh no, says Sanity, it's a calumny of some left-wing rag!!! No, it's his exact words.)

The fact that someone owns x houses, has x bucks, etc. doesn't make them inherently likable (he appears to have no intimates amongst his huge compound), capable of expressing facts, or something to admire. He's just a spectacle like other performers. Doesn't matter which side of the line they fall.

Its ok Domi, Sanity is keeping everyones lists for them... its much easier that way... he can tell everyone who to hate and why....the keeper of lists, he has lists of peoples lists, ... while hes crushing coal into diamonds.
