We don't need no stinking Canadians trying to tell us that we should suck a government tit because they think it tastes good. Well considering how our economy is doing better than yours by every imaginable measure, and we are healthier and have no forclosure crisis, and nobody going bankrupt over medical bills, and have lower child mortality rates, and have a longer life expectancy, less crime, lower teen pregnancy rates, less of a percentage of our population under the poverty line, and have a smaller income gap, and well I could go on and go but I'll just cut this short and say that by any sensible criteria you want to use we're doing better....well maybe you do need a little neighbourly advice, since you guys are quite obviously fucking things up much worse than we are. A lot of factors went into that.. You also don't police the world do you and spend trillions on "defense".. I'd rather be poor and in chaotic times than sell my freedom. No healthcare on the planet is worth that. Still stands though.. This country was founded the way it was and that's the way we like it. Health care ? BTW, your leaders lead you by the nose into world militarism and the intellectually lazy American right eats it up like candy. We spend trillions on 'defense' because it and wars are very, very profitable. $350 billion in something called 'cost overruns' in one term under Bush. Yea, and as everybody knows, those with govt. run health care don't have anymore freedom. Well, take comfort in that in great glorious America the land of the 'free' you will work more, pay more and die younger...now that's real freedom. Oh and Ron Paul is fdar, far too much of a risk. If ever by miracle he was elected...he'd have to die. I watch C-Span every morning and even they do not show anything on Ron Paul even after his 2nd in an Iowa straw poll. They show Bachmann, Perry and Romney.
