You are pretty much ignorant about this aren't you.
Surgeries now are often performed with special techniques using robotic assistance to try and spare as many nerves as possible. They are quite successful.
Occasionally some men need to take viagra or similar drugs for full function.

And having loved someone without a prostate before the era of Da Vinci and similar procedures I can say he enjoyed sex immensely despite not being able to acheive a full erection.
He still had orgasms; they were just dry ones.

Status: offline 		Its probably a good job he isnt out there campaigning for prostate cancer, he would do the cause more harm than good. Of course he wont even THINK about getting involved, that would actually mean learning something and having to admit he is wrong and lessen his anger against women.

A lot of guys who suffered from prostate cancer are able to have sex, in case you don't know, maybe you should check it out, any person who had cancer is not encouraged to have children, especially not with breast cancer. The fact that breast cancer quite often kills and is one of the most aggressive cancers doesn't count because oh dear, a guy might not be able to produce children, the fucking trauma of it... I had ovarian cancer, one ovary and both tubes gone, tell you what, happy to be alive, a friend had prostate cancer, he's happy to be alive and I think he's having quite a happy sex life, another one lost one testicle due to cancer, also happy to be alive. A former prof from university and 2 aunts had breast cancer, they possibly would like to be alive, they're 6 feet under.

So you have a grudge that breast cancer gets awareness, I'm not surprised, I mean after all you're the guy who favors "paid encounters" and "mail order brides" - still wondering why Western women don't give you the time of the day?

Since you're so worried about testicular cancer and prostate cancer, what are you doing about it? Raising awareness or just hating women because *gasp* they might get help if they are suffering from breast cancer?

Status: offline 		My grandmother had a brain tumor. It wasn't even malignant but it killed her anyway because it was wrapped around a major blood vessel. The sad part is that if she had it now instead of in the '70s she would probably still be alive because of radiotherapy and incredibly precise surgery techniques.

As invested as you are with the thought that you ARE your penis, I find it strange that you think women aren't as invested in their breasts (especially in Western culture). Just as women can live and thrive without breasts, so could a man live and thrive without a penis.

Oddly enough the friend who had prostate cancer got divorced about 2 years after his treatment was completed - the wife divorced him, not for not getting it up anymore but for playing hide the sausage with other women and being caught, so much for not being able to have sex anymore.
