And you are a sputtering fool who throws his own feces when confronted with facts

Sit down, sonny, I'm going to take you to school.

Rick Perry said, "As a nation, we must come together and call upon Jesus to guide us...."
You said, "Name any serious presidential candidate who hasnt claimed religion."

Now follow me closely here. Ready? Okay...

Rick Perry isn't "claiming religion" in that statement (remember, it's in English). He's proclaiming a religion, a divine Savior that the nation must come together and "call upon." See how different English is from your language?

Now for homework, I want you to look up the definition of "fact" and write it out one hundred times across your back. Given the position you're in, it'll be easy. Just reach up a little, you don't have to see.

Actually his official proclamation isnt much different than Obamas national day of prayer proclamation. What he says to a congregation of other Christians has to be taken in the context of his audience.

Granting that Atheists would have a quibble nonetheless, Obama never said -- to anybody, anywhere -- that as a nation must we call upon Jesus.

Neither did Perry, except when addressing a Christian group. His official proclamation says nothing about Jesus.

Dont misunderstand...religion is my main objection to Perry, but claims that he is an antidisestablishmentarian (in the US sense) are hyperbolic.

That's a very good point. Given that there has been no establishment of a state religion in the United States, I would have to agree that he cannot fairly be said to be opposed to withdrawing the support of the state from the established official religion.

Thats why I said "in the US sense"....ie violating the establishment clause.

Dont need one, thanks. Ive known the meaning and spelling since Charles van Doren's scandal shed some light on Gloria Lockerman's assistance.

Nobody claimed that Perry was an antidisestablishmentarian in any sense.

Everyone knows that the "Tea Party" is just a front for the crazy Christian extremists, and their real goal is to become the American Taliban and impose their Sharia Law on everyone.

Look at abortion. Getting an abortion will get you excommunicated from the church, but that's not good enough... These CRAZY CHRISTIANS want women who get abortions, and their doctors executed.

The Tea Party is a bigger threat to America than Al Qaeda... Al Qaeda Members aren't gaming Republican primaries to get into office, yet... But these Crazy Christian Extremists have penetrated every facet of US Government.

We need Loyalty Oaths... Your Religion, or your Government..... Pick one...

Your primitive simian mannerisms aside, Perrys traditional Christan beliefs dont trouble me at all, especially when one compares and contrasts them with the hateful, racist, and bigoted black liberation theology of the current president.

No, give me a traditional Christian any day over that.

Dude, ALL CHRISTIANS are delusional... There is no "New Testament"... You might as well believe in the "Book of Mormon" if you're going to just believe whatever horseshit you're told....

Sanity -> RE: Rick Perry: Hating America and Making Up Lies About Her... (8/19/2011 11:34:01 AM)

Atheistic morons are arguably much worse, pretending in their simplistic little minds that all this came of naught.

But as to Black Liberation Theology fanatics... no, they dont compare with, "Jesus bless us all" stuff in any way, their minds burn in the same hell as those of the KKK in my opinion.

Dude, you need to go get yourself a cogent thought somewhere.

I quote:

'And the earth was without form and void.'

That is the very essence of Christian belief, that little 'naught' glitch.
Do not force simplemindedness on others, when it is the very nature of your clownishness.

We know how well this worked for him. [:D][:D][:D][:D]

"Well, what will decide the outcome of the presidential contest in the year 2000 will not be public opinion polls but the power of ideas, the quality of leadership, the compelling vision that I will offer for the American people and how they respond to it. "

Edit at 12:02 PT: Time for the lies about the election being stolen to pop up again.

Whatever. Heil Jesus, Dude....
