Your grasp on international law is as tenuous as your understanding of logic.

She also ignore Res. 242, that requires an end of belligerence for a return to the pre 67 borders. Current borders are recognized by the UN until that happens.

Thats correct but as Eugene Rostov (who worked on the wording of 242) stated, successive UN resolutions calling for a withdrawal from all territories were defeated whilst 242 just listed "territories" because the mood in the UN was that Israel shouldn't be forced to withdraw to the vulnerable Armistace Lines which weren't considered permanent lines by any of the parties involved in that process: http://maurice-ostroff.tripod.com/id45.html

Israel's current borders are not recognised by as single country in the world - not even the usually servile US Govt. Israel's annexation of Jerusalem has been condemned as "null and void" by the UN Security Council. Israel ignores international law and UN resolutions and is engaged in a blatantly illegal attempt at stealing Palestinian land it has kept for 43 years through a brutal military occupation. This occupation has resulted in thousands of unnecessary (Israeli and Palestinian) deaths and continues to cause numerous deaths today.

Israel's internationally-recognised borders are those that were in existence up to 1967. There is absolutely nothing stopping an Israeli withdrawal to its legitmate borders except Israeli greed aggression and expansionism - a modern day lebensraum.

Amazing. Peace treaties signed by Egypt and Jorden no longer count? Why do you hate Jews so much?

ETA: I once again note that you do not quest for Pakistan to be given back to India. Even though those borders are disputed.

Such patent hypocrisy from both Aylee and Willbur (no surprise there!) Usually Zionists condemn the UN as implacably "anti-Israeli" yet you shamelessly quote it when it's to your advantage. If you're going to abide by the UN/international rules, then observe all the UN resolutions about Israel's behaviour - all 100-odd of them condemning Israeli belligerence and human rights violations.

No one recognises Israel's existing areas of control as its legitimate borders. Not even the US. Not a single country anywhere in the entire world. That's why most foreign embassies are located in Tel Aviv. Other countries refuse to validate Israel's annexation of East Jerusalem.

UN Resolution 478 specifically declares the Israeli annexation of East Jerusalem "Null and void".

The simple fact is that NO country in the world recognises Israel's existing borders as valid. The occupation of the West Bank is even referred to by Israelis as an Occupation, or "The Occupied Territories".

If you believe there is such a country - you could name it so that we all check your claim. And while you're at it, tell us what is stopping an Israeli withdrawal to its recognised borders - apart from Israel's belligerent determination to steal the West Bank completely and destroy all hope of a two-State solution.

This all just seems so pointless. One attacks the other...who retaliates...who retaliates...and on it goes. Meantime people keep getting killed who had nothing to do with the attack...that was a retaliation...that was a retaliation ad nauseum.

You have not even basic knowledge of the laws passed in your own country, forget grasp.

And you have consistently shown outright disdain for anything resembling logic, preferring mind numbingly contorted fallacy in anything of importance.

Yes it is.

Unfortunately people have a tendency to react violently when their country is being stolen from them. It's not nice, it's not desirable but we all know this is what happens when one country occupies another people's land and maintains its control by a murderous military occupation that has lasted for 43 years now. Thousands have died on both sides as a direct result of this occupation. It gets worse when that occupying country (Israel) encourages its citizens to dispossess the locals and practices low level ethnic cleansing to drive them out.

It's roundly condemned by the entire world (with the exception of the US) and it will continue for as long as the citizens of the US allow it to continue. When the US ceases to supply Israel with financial aid, military supplies and diplomatic protection, the problem will be solved very quickly.

There is absolutely nothing preventing an Israeli withdrawal to its internationally recognised borders except Israeli greed, belligerence and expansionism.

I absolutely agree and therefore...QFT! You said it so much better than I did. I grew up believing that Israel was right to be doing what it has been doing for eons now. Imagine my surprise when I learned that in fact they are wrong and I in fact disagree with what they are doing. Sadly a lot of Jews here (I'm talking about my city) just keep believing what they grow up being told and don't think to question it.
