2 of my windows have no curtains as they simply are not needed.    As a practical matter I use them to keep the heat, light out- or in.  depending.

to me, even if i knew i was the only person for 100 miles, i still want window coverings on, at least to make me feel like i have privacy. I was like that even growing up on the farm, it bothered me that the living room window had no drapes...

The window on the back door- none-  and the window above the kitchen sink, none.

Those windows dont really need one- to me.

It is like doilies, coasters, knick knacks, plants, those fancy towels in the powder room you are not supposed to touch.

We, or at least I, like a neat, well kept, clean and tidy, attractive environment to live in.

Windows look bare without curtains, they match your decor and keep out too much sun, which can fade your furniture and carpet.

I dont want to live in a museum... LOL.     Good point hun

I need window coverings for privacy. Can't do blinds because the cat plays in them, so I have curtains. Of course I'll choose curtains to match the decor and furniture. Is it a worry of mine? No, it's practical, but may as well make them pretty, too.

The front of my house- even tho it has a view is on a busy street.   So I pretty much do not even use those room, and have the windows covered well.   The noise drives me buggy.

I seriously do worry about window treatments, if the room is a bit dim, I will clean the windows - does that count? I'm always amazed by some neighbours who clean the windows regularly every week - who has that much time on their hands?

I have blinds in the washroom and bedroom (one of the window) for privacy.  The apartments across from me can see right in.  Considering I like to go nude, then they're necessary for me.  The other window in the bedroom and the living room have curtains that I made out of flat sheets.  They'll do for now and keep the sun out when it's too warm.  I don't much worry about things matching, never have, never will.  Of everything I worry and stress over, that's the least of my worries.

the window in the bathroom has a mini blind for privacy since it looks right out onto the street and the neighbors' rooftop decks where anyone can see in and then a nice valance that matches the decor. The living room window is a large door type window that opens up to the street and my plant boxes which I adore. I have some nice floor length curtains over them that help to keep heat/coolness in but I keep the windows and curtains open almost all day because I love the sunshine and air that streams in. The bedroom has two windows with mini blinds and light white sheer curtains. The blinds are almost always closed since the windows peer directly into my landlord's home. I like my privacy there so they stay closed. And there's one window in my hall but again the same as the bedroom...into the landlord's home.

It takes me forever to find curtains and blinds that I'm completely happy with and I'm sure I'll change mine at least a few more times before I find some that both he and I like. I've already had to change them twice because both Master and my daughter hated the other ones I had...hhrrmmpphh..they just don't have any decor taste.

well, i sleep in a white v-neck t-shirt and frequently run around in that, not quite covering my butt.. keeps my upper body warm and very sexy..

Ooooooooo noooo, can't sleep with clothes on.  The only time I do is if I'm visiting friends or family, and then I don't sleep well, I feel restricted and get all twisted up.

Then he'd laugh himself silly at my slippers, I have a pair of Eeyore slippers, long ears and all, and a pair of flamingo slippers with a floppy neck sticking up and the head at the top.

I have to because my cat pretty much destroyed my blinds and the strings that pull them up and down. They don't close all the way any more and my bed is higher than most. I do however wear extremely oversized pajamas, I practically swim in them.

I watch too many horror films...windows without curtains always seem to be invaded by zombies.

I have a fly strip hanging at the kitchen window- so curtains would only get in the way and also get wet.
