It's when people make universal claims of what is and what isn't for other people that you start getting into rights & wrongs.  In other words, if you find you're submissive by letting your slave flog you, then fine, you're submissive.  If you say anyone who receives a flogging is submissive, you're going to get a lot of argument to that.

What's right for you may not be right for me, and vice versa.

Yes but no. I'm going to cut you some slack because you're not a native English speaker. The issue is one of who is submitting.
When a dom tells a sub to flog him, he isn't submitting to her wishes, she is submitting to his. And, the last time I checked, that is the way it is supposed to work, the sub submits to the dom's wishes, whatever those wishes are.

Status: offline 		There is nothing wrong with attributing the word 'switch' to someone who enjoys both topping and bottoming.  There are plenty of tops and bottoms out there who are neither Dominant or submissive.  They are in it all for the sensations of the play.  They switch between liking to top and liking to bottom.  Nobody ever said the word only applies to orientation or role within a dynamic.

Status: offline 		Very true, switch can indeed mean one who tops and bottoms, and using the word in that context, one could very easily be a dominant and a switch.
