Exactly what part of what Rev Wright preached wasn't true? And not the parsed right wing snips...the entire sermon.

So ... every time you see something negative from a conservative or Republican, you will simply understand it's BS, because the context is missing, and refuse to condemn them until you have read or listened to all the surrounding circumstances?

uh huh.

Horseshit.

Cant read between the lines, hill?

You really need me to break it down for ya?  [:D]

Fine.

Point for point that you raise, or actually for every low down political hit piece the far left droolers bring to the table... Perrys record on anything and everything beats Obamas record hands down

Unless Obamas record is so bad that he refuses to allow its release of course, as is the case with his college records.

Sanity, in response to your delightful post....
When will you ding dongs finally figure out that even though you cant ever discuss real issues, where is your real issue in this thread, its Perry, not ODS???
the best that you can ever hope for are these infantile ad hominems,
us "dingdongs and morons" have not been discussing pres Obama, we have been discussing Perry, and you havent even touched the subject, all you can do is mention the prez

and you are morons to bring up religion so long as you have Jeremiah Wrights number one son of a dog in office
youve been asked for backup on that beyond the one mention..you cannot, why?? dont have anything to offer up as debate?
And that you are morons to bring up college records so long as Dear Leader blah blah blah(another ad hominem)
you have consistently ignored the Perry subject to go ODS On everyone
what a pathetic attempt

Perry isn't the first politician to hold a prayer meeting, I guess this is just another Fargle
"I'm such a lefty, I'll attack anything a Republican does, no matter how stupid it makes me look," thread.

To Fargle, only Jewish prayers count as valid.

Christians are simply deluded, cult members who pray to a G-d that doesn't exist.

Good, now we are getting somewhere.

Give us the comparison.

Youre not one to beg for "backup" luce, when you rarely if ever post on topic

When the best you can ever do is make these halfwit attacks on other posters

I can read between the lines sanity.

What I read is this.

1. You cannot think of anything to support Parry, therefore you try to change the thread to an obama thread.

2. You whine about ad homineum attacks while you personally make 4 of them in 2 posts.

Again. Do you think Parry would be good for the country and why?

All I have heard from him so far is a bunch of ignorant platitudes that are designed to get other ignorant people to vote for him.

I'm looking REALLY hard for someone to vote for besides the guy in there now and all I see is a bunch of clowns.

Rick Parry: Climate Change is a Cult

"Climate Change" as espoused by many on the very liberal left does indeed qualify as a "cult" for some people.

Firm

Would you call leading a prayer meeting to try to make it rain cultish activity as well?

I would

Nope, I wouldn't.

However, "cult" by itself is a pretty nebulous term.

Perry pushed the Legislature to create the Texas Enterprise Fund, giving the governor, lieutenant governor and House speaker the power to hand out multimillion-dollar grants to businesses seeking to relocate to or expand within the state. Two years later, Perry and the Legislature created another subsidy bank, called the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, using taxpayer money to invest in high-tech companies. Perry made government a venture capital fund.

Muckrakers at the Los Angeles Times and the Austin American Statesman have shown a strong correlation between Perry’s biggest campaign contributors and the money handled by these funds and Perry’s other public-private partnership. Almost half of Perry’s “mega-donors,” according to the Times, have received profitable favors from the Texas government. Poultry magnate Joe Sanderson, for instance, gave Perry’s campaign $165,000 and received $500,000 from the Texas Enterprise Fund to open a facility in Waco, the Times reports.

The Austin paper documents the unsavory case of $80,000 Perry donor David Nance winning a $4.5 million grant from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund. A regional board had denied the grant to Nance’s Convergen LifeSciences, but Perry intervened and ushered the grant through.

And all Obama got was an Immelt T-Shirt, so one area his record is better in is corporate socialism and welfare, and what is their unemployment rate, since Chicago got Boeing and not Texas, and Illinois took quite a drop in employment.

Sure it has. "Vindicated" by the very people who benefit from perpetuating the fraud.

Please explain to everyone how the National Science Foundation, Pennsylvania State, NOAA 'benefit' from what you allege to be 'fraud'.

Please provide EVIDENCE to support your assertion of fraud in light of the overwhelming evidence indicating that no fraudulent acts have occurred.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one Firm.

What exactly was vile in what he said? I hear all the complaining but never any hard evidence.

Well, I'm not interested in spending the time to listen to all of his Sunday sermons ... but the "right wing" ABC News site has an article about the research that they did ...

Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11
By BRIAN ROSS and REHAB EL-BURI
March 13, 2008

Sen. Barack Obama's pastor says blacks should not sing "God Bless America" but "God damn America."

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has a long history of what even Obama's campaign aides concede is "inflammatory rhetoric," including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism."

...

An ABC News review of dozens of Rev. Wright's sermons, offered for sale by the church, found repeated denunciations of the U.S. based on what he described as his reading of the Gospels and the treatment of black Americans.

"The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," he said in a 2003 sermon. "God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."

In addition to damning America, he told his congregation on the Sunday after Sept. 11, 2001 that the United States had brought on al Qaeda's attacks because of its own terrorism.

The guy graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. Are you even intelligent enough to know what it means to graduate 'magna cum laude'? What sort of course grades does someone generally have that graduates at the very top of his graduating class there Professor Sanity?

Likewise, I recall you getting OWNED on the President's place of birth. You were quite wrong and didnt have an ounce of backbone to admit how wrong you were. Heck, I doubt your even apologized for doubting his statement that he was born in Hawaii. Has Mr. Perry shown his 'full and complete' birth certificate; has it been independently verified? Likewise, what are his educational records? Did he graduate 'magna cum laude' from Texas A&M University?

Perry graduated in 1972 with a 2.22 GPA in......Animal Science. Want to keep playing the whole 'whose more educated on the US Constitution', Sanity? I think I'll place my money on the Constitutional Scholar rather than the guy that diesected a frog.
