Endivius -> Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/26/2011 10:59:55 PM)

Good evening,
I have been lurking on the boards for over a year, but have been active for a short time, I am extremely greatfull for all the information that has been shared with me so far. As allways, I want more information, anything I can get to be better as a dom and a lover, is great in my book. I accept criticism quite well (thick skin) and have no problem making up my own mind. So far I've had an abundance of valuable information passed my way that has been very eye opening. Things I had not ever considered are being brought to light from the discussions here new and old. Not all of them are usefull, many are.

I have been experimenting with E-play (electricity), We are enjoying certain aspects in our play, but quite frankly, i'm a novice with the wand. While i'm not bad with it by any means, i'm interested in being better. Where might I get more information on this outside of the forums? I was curious if there are any books or videos we might purchase. There are no local kink parties available in our area and the drive is simply too far for us to attend any of the nearest Munches (268 miles). I am primarily interested in techniques for teasing, but am open to any information i can get. Any help regarding this would be most appreciated.

There is an "Introduction" section for this sort of thing. And, thanks for dismissing the thoughts and ideas of all the submissives on these boards. Way to go, if you really want to learn to be a better dominant, then I would think the ideas of submissives would be of more interest to you than those of other dominants, but I guess you are one of those pretend doms who believes that submissives are just things to be molded and trained into whatever you want them to be and what they think and want are of no consequence..

Good luck, you're going to need it with that attitude.

You're looking for references?  Uncle Abdul, beyond doubt.  The book is entitled "Juice".  There's also a website that you can find by googling the name.

There are quite a few of us on the boards that are into electric play.  There was a thread on TENS units earlier in the week on the General board.  You'll find a few on the violet wand (even sounds) that have been about on the forums.  Probably a few that you could find by using the search feature.

GreedyTop -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 1:23:14 AM)

wow, Heather! I didn't get ANY of that from his post......

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 1:33:04 AM)

Read the title. And then reread the post keeping in mind who he has chosen to address.

GreedyTop -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 1:54:09 AM)

ok, fair point, but I can see why he would use this forum: presumably, a top/dom is more likely to be knowledgable about the use of e-implements (not always necessarily true, but as a generality, it works)

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 2:21:11 AM)

If he had of left out the intro and simply entitled it something like "Electro-play?" or anything but what he did I wouldn't have found it offensive, but he didn't and I did.

Perhaps I'm too touchy tonight

GreedyTop -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 2:25:23 AM)

*hugs*

understandable.

Im surprised at how quickly you jumped to such bold conclusions, based on other posts you have contributed to. I have no doubt had i posted this in the subs thread some random D would have been equally quick to jump to such a narrow view as well.

Thank you LadyPact, i had allready read the forum thread on E-play and the TENS thread as well. MzChievius was kind enough to share some tips as well (hugs), wich is why i was reaching out for other information. Knowledge is a good thing [:D] I'll deffinitely get that book, searching for the thread on the voilet wand now. Thanks again.

Edit clarity and punctuation, also i speel gud.

must be "that time of the month" for heather ;)

Buzzzz -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 6:44:06 AM)

violet wand isn't that complicated. the gibber the attachment is, the less painful. same goes with the "intensity button" at the back of it.

here is the link of the one I have http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-VIOLET-RAY-WAND-ELECTRO-TECHNIC-PRODUCTS-BD-10A-/350487402000?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item519aad5610

Make sure you have a newer one without the wax core, as the older models tend to fade after 10 minutes or so. They need to cool of. The newer ones, you can play for a very long time :)

DesFIP -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 7:25:23 AM)

Heather was an ass. The op is new and unaware of how to address people. He posted in ask a master and used high protocol to presumably be polite in a group of people he doesn't know. OP, despite what the forums are called, anybody can answer anywhere and will.

But he assumed that tops would use the wand more than bottoms and so chose to address his question to other tops. Sensible and not rude in the least.

DecadentDesire -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 8:54:53 AM)

There really is no end to how far people on these boards will go to tear apart someone's first post, even if it means making things up.

Thank you for that info. I'll have to RTFM on mine to see about the core.

Awareness -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 10:41:37 AM)

It never ceases to amaze me how many pathetic fuckers crawl out of the woodwork to play Captain Save-A-Ho for a piece of ass.   Heather was out of line, the original post had nothing wrong with it and you're the kind of fucking moron that adds no value to this place whatsoever.   When you get out of short pants you can try playing with the adults - until then, fuck off back to your mom's basement.

LadyPact -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 10:44:26 AM)

First, you are welcome, OP.

It wasn't the forum choice, it was the thread title and first paragraph, and she admits she was probably being overly sensitive, as she explained in her post which you quoted, so you should have realized that.

<snipped for brevity>

Heather: take a chill pill and lighten up a little, the guy is just a guy, he has a cock so he can't be expected to know when he is being rude or insulting, just overlook his gaffes and faux pas, male = gauche.

I know you're trying to support Heather here, but this was pretty much crap.  Not every person on the forums is going to read every thread to know what thing is effecting the lives of everybody else.

There wasn't a thing wrong with the title or the first paragraph on this thread.  You don't see people having a fit when someone goes to the Ask A Submissive forum with a title like "A question for subs and slaves".  If anything, the OP did far better than those coming to the forum thinking that only male Dominants would be the ones who would have the answer he was looking for, so the sexist statement about the guy having a cock and so on was completely uncalled for.

MistressDarkArt -> RE: Greetings Masters and Mistresses, Thanks. (8/27/2011 12:29:25 PM)

Welcome Endivius. Wealth of in-depth electro information at smartstim.com. Extremely generous and knowledgeable folks there, and they are quick to answer specific questions you're not able to find with the 'search' function. Free and anonymous, too. Electro (box, not wand) is a specialty area of mine so I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have either here or on the other side.

PS: Found nothing amiss with your OP. You've proven a gentleman on the boards so far.
