I have never once, hit a man. Threatened to kill a few, waved a broken vodka bottle in the face of one that thought he was going to play grab ass, shot over the head at one, dumped a full pitcher of ice water over another that got too friendly with my bum, but never have I hit one.

i would never hit a Woman first. i would however at least try to hit a Woman back if She slapped me first
, indeed i would try to hit a man back if he hit me. i think i have a right to try and defend myself. i have always found it mysterious that men should NEVER hit Women and while i agree up to a point if a Woman attacks me i think the notion that i cant hit Her back because She 's a Woman to me that s risible

I was a doorman at a major dive bar for a couple of years -I'm 6'4" and about 295, and a ex-powerlifter and brickmason . .

The ONLY time I have EVER just full on power-punched a woman right dead square in the face, knocking her back about 10', was when one tried to mule-kick me REALLY hard in the groin because I wouldn't let her underage friend in . .

That to me is like a guy trying to cunt-punt a woman . . It's simply never tolerated under any circumstances, as it's intended to do SERIOUS harm to the recipient . .

And the cops agreed with me . .

I'm guilty of throwing a woman off the hood of my car into the middle of traffic after she stomped on and broke my windshield. I wasn't thinking about the traffic at the time in the heat of the moment.  After that my friend who was keeping her away from it for me while I closed my bar decked her which laid her out flat on the ground after she tried to kick him in the balls.

My cousin was dating a girl who was a bit too "hood" for my whole family's taste. She decided to get herself into a fight with one of his friends (unprovoked), and she popped him in the head with a bottle that didn't break. He walked away to calm himself down, but she wanted to harp him continuously, all the while yelling "I wish you'd fucking hit me".

She got a solid backhand to the face.

I slapped a guy once, reflexively. He had blown smoke in my face thinking he was being sexy. I was offended and felt thoroughly justified. I felt bad about it after I saw the look on his face. We discussed it and forgave each other and forgot.

I have never slapped a man as anything other than a form of play. I find punching them in the face a lot more effective. As to that whole women play the "I'm a girl you can't hit me" thing well yay for being a redneck because that doesn't fly with anyone I know(male or female) I even taught my son, before he was six years old, that if a girl hit him first he could hit her back. Not that it helped because he thinks girls are soft and smooshy. He did once tell a girl at school that he would hit her(after she hit him four times) and I had to have a nice talk with the school board about it. But where I live the rules are simple. Don't point a gun at anything you don't intend to kill, and don't start a fight you don't intend to end.

I was slapped so hard over my ear i thought i was gonna go blind - i stood there and kicked him in the head and knocked him on his ass, he got laughed at. he really should have known better. i will hit back i will not hit first you start i will finish.

A redneck? Someone who think that Women should not be hit because they are Women. So that must be a redneck belief that Feminists give us that Women should not be hit at all even if they instigate the violence because they are Women. This forum is indeed an education. i have learned something new

Wrong-o, Kevin!

The basic premise of Feminism is that of choice and free will for men AND women. Some feminists may believe that it's OK to hit a boy and expect nothing to happen. This feminist believes that it is unfair for a girl to hit a boy, because you don't hit someone who can't hit you back. If a girl does hit a boy (first and unprovoked), she wouldn't get a lot of sympathy from me if he does hit her back. If he were to hit her first, go for it, girlie!!

Feminism is about treating women as individuals and not saying "All feminists hate men", or "All women should stay home barefoot and pregnant."
