I dunno. These days I am watching the first season of the series Nikita and in one of the episodes there is a similar proportion between SUV and actor.

I think that it would be best to ask the reporter what the truth of the matter is.

Hopefully this will end this silly thread.

I did a little research. The SUV in the video looks like a Lexus (definitely) GX 470 or possibly an LX 570. The external height is 74 inches for the GX model and is higher for the LX model. I found the height of the reporter. She is 5'4" or 64 inches. Ten inches difference.

Yeah well I am as guilty as the rest. I was engaged in how the media can fake these things rather than whether or not they really did. They did not in this case and here is the proof :

In the part that I circled, the arrow points to a slightly brighter spot of her coat. This was illuminated by the headlights of the vehicle in question. This indicates that it was not faked. Look carefully at that picture and review the video carefully.

This is what I was talking about with lighting. I looked very hard for evidence of it being faked based on lighting and maybe I wanted to find proof that they did indeed fake it, but instead I found this. If they faked this, they are VERY VERY good and really do overestimate the US public to quite some degree. Nobody including myself would ever find that if not looking for it. And many would not report it if they had found it, how many ?

I made sure that the picture included the time index, watch the clip again very carefully. If you still think they faked it, you got a hell of alot of faith. they have no fucking reason to go to those lengths.

If you think that lighter spot is part of her coat, watch a few seconds later as she turns and reveals that side of the coat more. It is NOT the design of the coat.

Case closed.

Correction: truth is you are more guilty than the rest after being certain that chroma key was used but with this recent eruption of honesty there may be some hope for you yet, admittedly not very much but...

Does that mean Termy the debunker is now debunked? The light areas on the arm are spotty but it is a low res image grab so that might be a result of reflected light shining from rain as it is so patchy. The light on the shoulder is natural light. This is clear when you look at the link provided in D's excellent post http://video.foxnews.com/v/1132287665001/hudson-river-starting-to-flood-into-nyc - check out the consistent areas of light on her right arm when she raises from about 16 seconds into the clip.

Anax, could we possibly start hurling insults at each other and get this thread thrown off ? It just won't fucking die !

I don't recall actually caiming it was faked, just that it could be. If I would've found evidence it was, that would have been in the post, but that was the first time I examined it critically. Also the last.

If anyone has any "faith" that anything they see on TV is real they need a crash course in life. So this time she was standing out there, but you know damn well most of the time they ain't. So what, you want them to stand in front of a white wall or something ? I bet some people would be surprised to find out that during the time they show the weather map that Wally the weatherman isn't actually standing in front of a HUGE TV screen.
