ORIGINAL: Termyn8or Anax, could we possibly start hurling insults at each other and get this thread thrown off ? It just won't fucking die ! Ahh no I could never insult my buddy... quote:
I don't recall actually caiming it was faked, just that it could be. If I would've found evidence it was, that would have been in the post, but that was the first time I examined it critically. Also the last. If anyone has any "faith" that anything they see on TV is real they need a crash course in life. So this time she was standing out there, but you know damn well most of the time they ain't. So what, you want them to stand in front of a white wall or something ? I bet some people would be surprised to find out that during the time they show the weather map that Wally the weatherman isn't actually standing in front of a HUGE TV screen. You didn't categorically say it was faked but the way you were talking until a short time ago it was as if you did. I did a quick scan of your early posts, here are three bits: quote:
I would almost go so far to say that they purposely zoomed in on the background image enough to make it APPARENT that it was a simulation, that it was intended for effect, NOT to portray reality. quote:
The thing is, everything you see on TV is a show, you can't count on anything being real. If you think Maryann the weatherman is actually standing out in the rain instead of the nice warm studio, you're not paying attention. The umbrella is a prop. quote:
But if anyone thinks ANYTHING on TV is real, you should've been around my little cousins and shit when they were eight years old becausde they knew better back then. EVERYTHING IS FAKE, DO YOU UNDERFUCKINGSTAND ? And what about blacklighting back in the B&W film days ? And it worked on still film too. Greatgrandma might not have been standing on top of Mount Rushmore.
