Hey Bob, guess what. There is a super awesome thread for that subject located right here http://www.collarchat.com/m_3830595/tm.htm It's even in the P&R forum so nastiness and hostility are par for the course.

Arpig -> RE: Tripoli's Zoo Animals Suffering (9/3/2011 8:40:12 AM)

I responded in that one, thanks Zephy.

Great! Now how about you stop responding in this one and let it get back on track.

Arpig -> RE: Tripoli's Zoo Animals Suffering (9/3/2011 8:51:06 AM)

How about you piss off and practice what you preach.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Tripoli's Zoo Animals Suffering (9/3/2011 8:56:22 AM)

How about you notice that I STOPPED a) when I was asked to and b) after that other thread was started.

Arpig -> RE: Tripoli's Zoo Animals Suffering (9/3/2011 9:02:07 AM)

How about you notice I wasn't actually discussing the ins and outs of the population question, but just replying to Aynne's denial of what she said.

Now like I said, unless you are a moderator, piss off and mind your own business.

Thanks.

HannahLynHeather -> RE: Tripoli's Zoo Animals Suffering (9/3/2011 9:03:59 AM)

how about you both just shut the fuck up

Update:

Dr. Amir Khalil from Austria's Four Paws International came to the aid of the animals at the Tripoli Zoo, after seeing the story about their suffering on CNN.

I saw the update on CNN this morning. It was so sad! Apparently zoo employees would feed them would they could, risking their lives. But at the same time, there was a lot they couldn't do. One of the tigers died. :(

If anyone is interested in helping the actual animals once all the philosophical 'poor planet' shit is worn out.. on of the primary organizations footing the bill to get Khalil and others from four paws and similar organizations to tripoli and providing feed and medical resources is IFAW and based right here in Massachusetts. You can visit ifaw.org or contact them via the following methodsL

I'm very familiar with these folks and have supported them frequently throughout the years thanks to my 9 year old daughter (whom I have managed to afford 8-)) and her interest in animals in jeopardy.
