That is your opinion and i will let you have it. My opinion is that "serious" people need to lighten the fuck up a lil bit. I do not seek out professional domiants because it would not satisfy my needs. If they satisfy someone else's i think that is awesome. Why stand on the side with picket signs objecting? Not sure of your point. Someone can never express an opinion on another's actions. That seems extreme moral relativism, and I am pretty sure almost no one lives quite that way.

Which then leads me to consider a few friendships I ended over the years based upon unspoken monetary related expectations.

Patrick, nearly ALL relationship types have some sort of 'pay' expectation. Whether it is cash, gifts, tasks or time.........there are expectations. If you sincerely cannot see that, then you are fooling yourself.

Who is picketing? I am just interested in the cultural phenomena being reflected here and the large number of people who find so little objection about market exchanges for sex, intimacy or emotion.

As I once said about lobbying and frequenting prostitutes, they both involve paying for something you should be able to talk yourself into on the merits.
