That is your opinion and i will let you have it. My opinion is that "serious" people need to lighten the fuck up a lil bit. I do not seek out professional domiants because it would not satisfy my needs. If they satisfy someone else's i think that is awesome. Why stand on the side with picket signs objecting? Which then leads me to consider a few friendships I ended over the years based upon unspoken monetary related expectations.

Patrick, nearly ALL relationship types have some sort of 'pay' expectation. Whether it is cash, gifts, tasks or time.........there are expectations. If you sincerely cannot see that, then you are fooling yourself.

As I once said about lobbying and frequenting prostitutes, they both involve paying for something you should be able to talk yourself into on the merits.

as far as physical intimacy, well, it depends on how you choose to use the word intimacy...
