and yet the number of morbidly obese Americans is higher than it ever was (50 years ago included) and that number is growing.
its gotten to the point where doctors had to step in and force fast food chains to post calories for their meals, not to mention include full nutritional pamphlets inside the store should a customer choose to request one.
fad diets and bogus workouts (such as what you find in men's health or men's fitness these days) are not the "cause" of guys getting washboard abs.
they are more a reflection of guys "wanting" abs like Peon's and those companies praying on those in want.
yup, there are a lot of obese people out there, thats why doctors invented stapled stomachs.
I went to burger king today, an extravagance I know. (bad tj!) I had a whopper junior (not the full whopper), no fries, no soda pop, no onion rings, no apple pie, no ice cream... 380 calories, thats it... The woman ahead of me, well, her little chubby kid did the ordering, large meal, with onion rings and ice cream cone... Then when i was eating, looked like a father & daughter came in, not quite sure how they each fit thru the door, i have no idea their weight, 300?, 400? pounds each,.. more?..
I looked around and thought, hmmm, i dont recall seeing nearly so many overweight and obese people 10 years ago. Not just there, in stores, etc too.
Imo, it doesnt seem to really matter to obese people what the calories are, they buy the food and amount they want to eat. Its a hard habit to break and its gonna get worse, there will be more and more obese people. It matters to me what the calories are, however.. I am the silly twit that picks up those nutritional pamphlets, i read the nutritional info on food packages, even record what i eat and totals (calories, fat, sodium, sugar, protein, etc) for the day..
To me, its not just about how i look, its how i feel, both emotionally and physically, its about how healthy i am..
