After being in the bdsm scene for so many years I have come to realize which partners are best for Me and why. This obviously is helpful in not wasting anyone's time, including My own. For example, I love a partner who is more giving and loves to serve and please.

What do you look for most in a partner and why?

Well she has to be female, breathing, within 15 years of my age, and speak a language I know. and the why is obvious, I suck at pantomime.

I've never looked for one so couldn't really say.

eta. That wasn't helpful so......... The few partners I've had have had one thing in common.....some kind of integrity and were very loyal men. So, despite never having looked, perhaps I ended up with them because of that.

Must haves and Nice to Have.

As I get older, Must gets shorter and Nice gets longer.

I expect that before I die, Must will become "live female"

Varying proclivities and quirks make for an interesting experience, which is all I ask from sex - it definitely tends to be better with someone who shares my kinks (or at least is willing to suffer them with grace) and is either utterly submissive or violently combative. Anything in between becomes irritating for some reason - if we both walk away bleeding and sore that's exhilarating, and if she does everything I say without question that's satisfying, but a moderate amount of resistance just irritates me. It doesn't ruin the experience necessarily, but it certainly takes away from it.

In terms of physical, tits big enough to play with, hair long enough to pull, and sufficient flexibility to get into interesting positions are all a plus. Expressive eyes are very important.

In the end, though, much of it comes down to a compatibility of spirit. Thinking back on the best I've had, they weren't the best because they fit all my tidy qualifications, but because there was chemistry, trust, and compatibility between us. Even between strangers, sex is as much expression as anything. Even if what you're expressing is hatred, the ability to express things between the two of you if quite important.

There needs to be compatible morals, intellect and interests. There should also be mutual attraction and the desire for a monogamous love-based relationship.

But he MUST also be an alpha male with an enjoyment of things sadistic. This last bit is what was missing from my relationships in my 20s and early 30s, and the reason I was celibate for so many years before discovering the wonderful world of pain, pleasure and control.

Without bdsm, I will not have a relationship. It would not be fair on my partner.

I now have a much better idea of what I prefer and require in a kinky partner, slave, etc. However, I do notice it comes down to one main requirement; that my sub must be willing and wanting to serve and please Me. I love a subservient sub who likes to please.

If I had to narrow down the 'must have' from the 'nice to haves' it would probably be humor. If our sweaty flesh makes some crazy fart noise on impact in a weird position in the middle of screwing, I have to have someone who won't be upset if I break out into hysterical laughter. It's happened.

Status: offline 		I mostly seek the bare minimum expectancies a relationship brings (loyalty to one another, openness, etc.) but with the addition that on Thursdays I am allowed to make her into my sexual mannequin. 

Then I get greedy and request it nightly and get dumped for being too sexual.  The bad guy never wins!

However, for me now and moving forward, kink is dead last in what I am seeking.

Connecting on all the other important levels comes first; I need the mental, emotional and trust connection before anything else.

It is easy to have kinky sex; it is far more difficult to find a person who is compatible as a human being and partner.

This thread is entitled: The Best Kink Sex Partners.
Then goes on to ask: What do you look for most in a partner and why?

And my answer reflects that title.  Sex partners are different than other kinds partners and the sex partner aspect of someone may be quite different than other of their aspects.
I have found such a wide range of attributes to potential sex partners, but the very best kink sex partners are those who can open up to who they really are, whose basic drive for sex is jacked into their kinky desires.  Some have only become aware of this while we were in the throes of  having sex, though, lol.
