The problem with unions is they extort part of your paycheck to "represent" you, and in most cases I've worked around union workers, they are like government employees, lazy, sluggish and always whining. The bigger problem is that we can't compete with workers from other countries who can buy more with less or are generally willing to live with much less. The problem that creates this dilemna is subsidized globalization.


The problem is that you've bought into the bullshit that you've been fed. Namely other workers work cheaper and produce the same as American workers. Its a crock of shit served up by Big Business to give a reason why all manufacturing went off shore. It went offshore for one thing only. Profits. The goods being made overseas are inferior to what was produced here. The goods are made with products that are regulated out of use here in the US. The goods are made in countries that subsidize that production at every turn.

This generation is being poisoned by the same companies that poisoned previous generations. The problem is that we are so stupid as a people we allow it. We allow them to take production offshore and then send the products back to us to use. Does that make any kind of sense?

But, I am sure you will run along to Walmart and be thankful that the fucking yellow smiley face is there to tell you everything is just fine.

First of all, he wasn't up there threatening anyone.

That would have been pretty stupid and illegal.

He may have used a poor choice of words but he was obviously referring to taking them out of office.

In light of the leftist caterwauling and spin following the Gabby Giffords shooting, its amazing that leftists now believe they can try to spin the following away, and claim its not "threatening"

Relock and reload meant nothing and the targets were JUST targetting just the voting districts, but on labour day at a labour rally hoffas son is calling for mass destruction of the american republicans

You do understand that public threats can land a person in jail?

He's not in jail, so the only ones interpreting what he said as being a threat are the ultra-conservatives.

EXCEPT That's not what Hoffa said.

This is how the Hoffa’s remarks are currently being reported by most Conservative news organizations (Section in bold is my doing and is the most pertinent piece. It sounds like violent rhetoric):

“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” Hoffa added.

Now, let’s revisit the bolded section when it is left unedited:

President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. And President Obama, we want one thing: jobs, jobs, jobs… That’s what we’re going to tell him. I stopped voting when Gore "lost" (remember, I'm a Republican).  When he won more votes, but lost the election...I said..."I'm done".

I've always been a fan of the process...until the process failed me.

I didn't want Gore as my President...but I agreed to the process....and he won.

He won.  He should have been our President...and had he been, come Hell or high water....he'd have dealt with the issues as he best felt.

They're all a bunch of fucktards.

It's a rigged game.

Anyone that thinks otherwise...ain't focusing on the facts.

ALL presidents are puppets and their first priority is...to stay alive. The congress can always be marginalized if you have a solid minority in the senate that you are willing bury in 'free-$peech.' [sic]
