I found this article through a different site, this article itself has no mention of color, merely pictures to let you know.
If you typed in words of color this would not pop up.
A human being was murdered. The color of those responsible as opposed to the child who was killed should not matter except as to motive.

But color was very much evident. Just because it wasnt typed doesnt mean it wasnt mentioned.

Prove what? That they mentioned the boys name in the article, and in the same article its shown that he is black? And they mentioned the victim's name, and in the same article it showed a picture of the victim as white?

Is that what you wish me to prove?

And all those cases can be properly dealt with using existing laws on MURDER.
When it gets down to it motive doesn't really make a murder worse, killing another human being is about as bad as it gets outside of sexual abuse of UMs.
If someone killed my friend, I wouldn't give a damn if they did it because they were white, or black, or because they were republican. They killed my friend, they need to go buh bye.

There is a law on equality out there, you might have heard of it. Hate laws are in no way, shape or form equal. They are completely biased, and often get out of hand. They are used out of context, and spur more hatred than they stop. They are a relic of a past that was much more violent than today. While race related crimes happen still, they are not accepted, and public opinion is NOT ok with them.

Rule, I am going to put out the same thing lucy pointed out to me earlier- look at the dates on your links, and get with the current decade.

The dates were when the incidents happened that caused the law to be enacted.

(Reuters) - The Democratic-led U.S. House of Representatives Wednesday approved an expansion of federal "hate crime" laws -- an effort that former Republican President George W. Bush had opposed.
On a vote of 249-175, the House passed and sent to the Senate a bill backed by the new Democratic White House to broaden such laws by classifying as "hate crimes" those attacks based on a victim's sexual orientation, gender identity or mental or physical disability.

The current law, enacted four decades ago, limits federal jurisdiction over hate crimes to assaults based on race, color, religion or national origin.

The bill would lift a requirement that a victim had to be attacked while engaged in a federally protected activity, like attending school, for it to be a federal hate crime.

Yes it does. "I killed him because he was terrorizing the neighborhood, raping young girls, beating up pre-schoolers, and selling drugs at the church, even, and, the police would do nothing." is distinctly better than "Oh, look, he's black." as a motive for killing someone.

If you walk in on your lover, who is doing your brother in a way that is traumatizing your dog, who really really doesn't want to be involved, while laying across a picture of your mother and making the coloring bleed out, and, you fly into a rage and kill them, it's bad. But, it's a situation that is extremely unlikely to happen again, you didn't plan on having happen, and, has to do with needing to learn self control on all sides.

If you walk into the room and your brother kills you for catching him, it is a worse murder, though in either case, the people are just as dead.

The point being, really, that someone who kills out of protecting others or out of self protection, probably won't do it again, under other circumstances and will probably feel so bad they won't want to do it again. Someone who goes out seeking a certain type of person, to abuse, to kill, is probably going to do it again, repeatedly. Even if they are seeking out criminals and killing them, they are still feeding a very dark thing inside them, that will only get worse over time and be very detrimental to society at large.

So, yes, motive does make a big difference!

If you can prove in court one is a racist it goes toward motive and proving the murder,

Marc furman was proved in court to be a recist and a purjeror in a capital murder case but was never charged.

the same if you can show in court he has a history of mugging, then that would be the motive and goes toward proving the murder.

While mugging and murder both start with the same letter they are not the same so why are you trying to equate the two?

I don't agree with some one being charged with a thought nor is it consistent with the constitution.

How is congress passing laws not consistent with the constitution?
