Status: offline 		A little over a week ago I had the pleasure of my first experience with a singletail. I loved it, every fiery, burning, stinging hit. I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing it again. It was very intense for me. I had beautiful marks from it which are nearly gone now *pout*, but it really was a great experience.

So, I was sitting here thinking and wondering what others who've experienced it from either or both sides thought of it.

Do you love it? Hate it? Tolerate it?

How much experience have you had with it?

What are your thoughts on it?

Although I'm not incredibly experienced with either, and what I am talking about really doesn't count as a cracking whip. It is solely a singletail, and compared to other weapons I have, it only ranks as my third most severe.

I love it.  The first time I had a stingletail used on me, I loved it so much that I bought one.  While I'll never equal the skill of Whipmaster Bob Clark on it, I'm not too shabby at using it.

I've found, however, that the percentage of bottoms who like them is pretty small.  I've found nobody has a neutral attitude about them, there's no "It's okay, but nothing special."  Everybody I've encountered either loves them or hates them, no middle ground.  Which is understandable, it takes a pretty serious pain slut to enjoy them.

Status: offline 		I fell in love with singletails the first time i was introduced to one.The big problem is finding somebody that can use one accurately.I do like my nipples whiped,without loosing an eye.
Have just finished modifying one with a nylon cord lash, (ex weed whacker) not for the faint of hart.Carn't wait to try it out.

Status: offline 		Oh my, i love them, with one exception, i prefer them with the cracker at the end removed, i adore that solid thud. Mistress and i ordered Master one for Valentine's Day from Australia.

Having experienced it for myself I can understand why. It's very intense almost too intense. It doesn't leave much room for middle ground.

So far in my community I've only seen 2 who used it and both use it very well. Over time I'm sure I'll see others. I've gotta say it's addicting although it was strictly backside and shoulders for me.

Weed whacker....no it definitely wouldn't be for the faint of heart. I'll be curious to hear how it goes when you try it.

The first time i felt a signaltail a friend of mine who is a dom came to visit and ride bringing his with him to show it to me. We were racing buddies not playmates, never play with someone you have to compete against.

I'm in the small precentile of depending on the circumstances if I like it or don't care. If I'm in subspace I love it, but if I'm not I just don't really care. I have the inability to get into the right headspace if my Maam plays with me with others around, this also blocks my ablity to hit subspace. At these times the play is all about her and what she wants/needs my likes or dislikes are not why we are there. When we are in public playing it is just another impliment for her enjoyment and something that I am merely the target of.

Seriously recently I was standing shirt off sipping a drink while she used a singletail on my back. When she was done I redressed & went about doing what I was stopped for this practise session. If we had been at home in our private dungeon alone I would of immediatly launched into subspace. So like I said for me it depends on where we are at and what is going on...

Status: offline 		As a top- adore them.   The singletail is one of the most versatile of toys out there, working on a mental and emotional level almost as much as it does on the physical one, with a range of sensations that goes from nearly nothing to fainting-in-paint and bleeding.

As a bottom- not interested.  If it's not hurting me, I'm just bored and if it's hurting me, I'm not liking the pain.

I was nervous but I really wanted to know what it felt like after seeing it demonstrated at a play party. I commented to a Dom friend on the phone and he said he'd bring his to the get together.

What I felt was basically a hot burning sting. I think it depends on your pain tolerance and how masochistic you are as to whether you like it or not. I loved it and I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not, but wanted to know how it felt. I'm glad I got to find out lol. I'm hooked.

Status: offline 		It wasn't in a crowd for me. It was a very small gathering. There were about 6 of us there at that point and the parties I've been to so far have been small...less than 40 people.

There was laughter and teasing and a very good atmosphere at the gathering that night. I was at ease and comfortable.

It was beautiful to watch it being done. Poetry in motion. The top I watched at the party was very skilled with it.
