Status: offline 		Greetings,While my girl loves the single tail I was reluctant to use one. We saw a demo at our local much given by Lord Sedoh (the happy sadist) and the man was having such a fun time playing with his whips. Well, we had him back to our Munch for a Whips 102 if you will and after some prodding I was convinced to join in. I am told my face just lit up like a kid at Christmas. While most people think of the crack or pop, which sounds very much like a gun going off, the whip can be a very sensual thing if properly controlled. By simply dancing the cracker across the skin you can tease or with a slight adjustment of your body you can draw blood. Such a difference with so little adjustment. Ultimate fine tuning I guess. Whips take practice, concentration and control. They are not a "toy" you can just pick up and play with. Status: offline 		ohhhhhhhh, I couldn't agree more MM.  I love them so much, I decided to buy one of my own; they're MUCH harder to use correctly than a good whipthrower makes it seem!

I have played a lot with two different friends of mine...both use singletails.  One has about two dozen different whips he enjoys playing with...and absolutely delights in marking me up pretty good.  The other has a single whip that he also uses really well...but he barely leaves a mark; his lashes are more like kisses.  Neither whip thrower is the better Dominant; both feel just awesome!

<shudders>  Lordy...I LOVE single-tails!

The party I witnessed singletail demonstration at, the demonstration took place after the last scene was done. A skilled Dominant was teaching a switch the movements. The switch was still kinda new to the singletail. It was awesome to watch as was the scenes the Dominant did with a few subs/slaves. That person participated in I believe 3 scenes, all very intense.

I've found a good way to practice is on a pillow with a white pillowcase, hanging at about the right height.  If you put some black leather dye on the cracker of the whip, you can see just exactly where it hit the target.  Otherwise, it's kind of hard to tell, since the cracker's so small and moving at supersonic speed.

Sarah,

The only problem I've found with that idea is that most whipmasters I've met like to use their own whips.  The reason for that is that they've had lots of practice with them.  Each singletail is a different than others and it takes even a skilled user a little practice to get used to one he hasn't used before.

Status: offline 		I love single tails.  I was completely hooked from my first experience.  It is hard finding someone with the skill to use one though, especially here in the Redneck Riveria.  Luckily I have connections.
Now on a slightly different note, a little item used on me called a dragon's tongue.....I have since heard it referred to as a dragon's tail, and devil's tongue also.....anyway, its a bitch and a half, I have a love hate relationship with it.  Eh, bad experience though, the Dom I was playing with drew blood and didn't tell me....o0o0o0oooooo.....deal breaker!

Harry,

The one who would use it on me would be the one I was in a long term relationship with. He would be familiar with it and comfortable with it first. It wouldn't be for just anyone who knew how to use one. I learned about that watching and listening to the discussion demonstration at the party.

I'm practical and definitely have no desire to be bleeding.

Erotic whipping is a good start for a session, but after the girl has climaxed, I prefer to send her to "Disconnect Junction" by marking her with the weals, welts and stripes that they seem so proud of the day after. heheheeeeee

Status: offline 		I absolutely loved my experience with the singletail and look forward to my next experience with it. My breasts weren't touched with it but I must admit I'm curious to feel it there and see if I like it. Not sure if I would though, but that's another thread.
