At 6'4" the bus ain't for me. Sitting in an airplane, in the extra legroom section, for 5 hours is punishment enough. I think the bus is better left for the desperate.

What you label desperate, I just have to say that is often the most economical way for a person to travel when they aren't able to afford taking a train or plane; especially here in Canada. I travel frequently during the year and from my research, the order from least expensive to costly means of travel is bus, train then plane...in this order.

Hey Bear
heh its cheaper for me to fly to the UK than it is to fly to DC
239 each way... plus "taxes,
400 to the UK for a round trip plus taxes.
For 300 bucks I can get down to DC 9 times and back. The time is spent with my pet, now if that makes me desperate, fuck desperate.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/12/2011 6:30:21 PM)

Yup, it cost me $135-155 roundtrip to take the bus to Upstate NY. To fly would have cost $700+ and taken longer.

Wolf2Bear -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/12/2011 6:32:39 PM)

If you were to take a Greyhound from Toronto to Vancouver, the fare is $246.00
Via rail charges $623.76
Air Canada charges $754.00

These fares are one way.

Lucylastic -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/12/2011 6:42:51 PM)

i booked the megabus to travel from where i live to london. it didn't turn up and on enquiring as to why i was told it could be upto 2 hours late but no-one from the firm would bother to inform us just how long it would take. when asked about the conecting train i was told 'i suppose they will put one on for you.'

in the end i spent extra money and went on the train. having been told by another guy that he travels on it all the time and it's never on time i shant be in any rush to use book it again.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/14/2011 2:38:12 PM)

Well that's that. I'd rather spend more and travel with Greyhound.

tolovetolaugh -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/14/2011 3:37:14 PM)

I was curious about the space issue as well, since I am now on crutches for a few more weeks.

heartcream -> RE: MEGABUS???? (9/22/2011 4:42:23 AM)

The Megabuses are fairly new and they are well designed. More ergonomic than regular seats. Twelve hours in any seat is going to about do me in but as far as space and comfort they rate well. Freakin bus! If I wasnt so desperate I would hire a car and sleep in the back hahaha.

Now give me a blowjob
