I am just a touchy feely person in general- I do respect it if others are not though and restrain myself around those who find it unwanted.
Except when drunk. But than again, my friends/paintball buddies have a system. Once they get me drunk they put me in a chair and start sitting in front of me. Then my inability to stay still and need to touch kick in and the massages begin!

Cuddling is emotionally linked for me - even more in some ways than sex is. It's just so intimate to me and I can't cuddle with just anyone.

In fact, a friend of mine knows I've been pretty down in the dumps lately and offered up some friendly cuddling - no strings attached. I politely turned him down. I love to cuddle, I just can't emotionally detach.

it is much more satisfying to me to cuddle than to fuck.

cuddling, to me, involves MUCH more empathy.

of course, I realize that the fucking thing is probably more a function of the bad choices I have made in sexual/romantic partners than anything else.

(which is not to say that the partners may not have been twatwads in their own right)

I guess it depends on your definition of cuddling is. Mine is close hugging, holding and touching. Spooning after sex would constituents cuddling. For me that's reserved for people I have had sex with at some point.

Now just plain hugging is different. Women can hug me all they want. Even if I don't want them too. It's in the rules.
