That would depend entirely on a person's point of view.  How can a person complain on one thread that the topic is being hijacked and then go to another thread and post pointless trivia that no one asked about or was even part of the conversation?  It's completely hypocritical.


ETA - Since you were the person who provided the first link, have you been able to find any related articles regarding a woman associated with the case that had charges pressed that has made the news?

What is corporate greed? avarice, which is defined by throwing parties after you dismiss workers spending hundreds of thousands of euro on a party while still maintaining the facade that you are struggling financially, meanwhile your profits are in the hundreds of millions. Is this happening in every company, absolutely not. Is it happening at all? Yes unfortunately only the most blinkered could make a case that it is not happening

I'm really reluctant to say this, but I think there may be a germ of truth in it.

I have a few good Irish friends and Kevin reminds me of something they have in common. All of them have minds that dance around just like his. It can take a bit of getting used to.

What do you think? Should I shut up and stop being racist? But I just don't think most people on this thread are able to twig the wavelength he's on.

Status: offline 		The Irish panache for the language is well documented, and i don't think there's any racism in pointing out that Joyce or Yeats' use of English was highly playful and zealous.

I'm not sure that's the simplest explanation for the fact that kev picked a fight then changed the subject after he got a hiding, though.

Alright Peon, sorry to have put out what appears to be a blanket opinion, I should know better by now. I said that because I think its disingenuous on his part to stir the pot and then act like he didn't do just that. His pattern seems to always be to do some pot stirring, then try to defend himself.  When that doesn't work, to try to change the topic slightly so that it puts him in a slightly better light and then when people call him on that he sometimes devolves into a tantrum or will try the complete switch of topic.

It gets tiresome because it never changes and follows the same cycle over and over again. For me the defining factor seems to be that he doesn't seem interested in ever getting any better- he keeps trying to play the blame game on where he is with life and with how he communicates. He wants to hang with the adults but can't stop himself (or doesn't want to) from acting out.
The Beloved guy was the same way...~smile~.

*Edited to add:  I'm not pissed at Kevin. I refrained from all of his topics/postings in this span of time that he's been back hoping that he'd go away again. I figured it was time to say something about his behavior. Not because I am angry at it, because I'm tired that he wants to keep beating the same old path without taking ownership of his issues and perhaps getting his life in order. If that's possible. He keeps refusing the meds, that is one thing he could reconsider.
So, I said something not out of anger, but out of seeing if he'd consider what he does and maybe turn it around.

Status: offline 		In serious investigations involving Criminal activity, material witnesses will always be questioned by competent Detectives.

The following would hold true in all the Jurisdictions in the USA that I'm familiar with, however, I'm aware it is a UK based crime:

This case sounds like it involves "Human Trafficking" and is, so far, completely unrelated to consensual BD/SM.

She was arrested and may well face charges but I doubt they'll be as serious as the charges the men face.

The men were remanded into custody and she has been released pending further questioning. Time will tell.

I was actually curious to see a related news story that would support either of his claims.  I don't think it's that unusual.  People are asked to support evidence all of the time, particularly when they have a poor track record of being honest or competent.  Visit P&R.  I'm sure you'll notice it.

For the record, I'm not mad.  Oh, I'll be the first person to admit that I have a huge distaste for people who are dishonest on a regular basis and I absolutely will point out when I think a person is displaying that character trait.  At the same time, there would have to be some kind of investment on My part to produce such a negative emotion.  Rather, it's more like an annoyance when someone doesn't know how to control a precocious child in their care.
