No, I think the idea is just to have the question posed and results posted in the relevant thread like we did this time. But i suppose we can do it on this thread as well, to make a sort of library thread of the data.

But so far it seems like a bit of a non-starter because there doesn't seem to be any other volunteers there might be some in Heather's inbox though, we'll know that in a few hours when she comes home. So you'll basically be getting middle class liberal Canadian attitudes when we aren't too busy.

Hardly definitive data, but it's what we can gather on our own. Sorry.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/13/2011 3:53:03 PM)

That's too bad but then it hasn't been that long either. the problem will be keeping this thread visible so people can read it.

hardcybermaster -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/13/2011 4:13:27 PM)

the problem is that you will never get enough data to make any poll in the slightest bit relevant

SuzeCheri -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/13/2011 4:13:44 PM)

Not really, the odd bump now and then to call for volunteers will do the trick.

I don't know about that, I think that getting the opinions of 500 random people is a whole lot more relevant than you saying you think most people think this way or that way. The three of us managed to ask over 200 people on our lunch and spare time between classes in one day, And got even more today (we got some guys to ask as well, and we also asked women their views). We're going to collate that shortly and then post those results as well. So if there were 10 people doing the polling around the world, we could easily get 2000 replies, which is enough to base some conclusions on, well at least as far as our purposes go. We aren't the Royal Society.

And it certainly is more relevant than a poll on here.

South Park, not so bad. It was the call I received from the other parent letting me know that their kids had been watching hard core porn with mine. Not a good day.

When I was thirteen we got caught with a magazine from canada where women shot eggs out of their pussies... Canada has evolved a lot since the early 70s and so have Teen American Boys I guess... As parents we just have to get used to the idea they will one day put egg on our faces numerous times [;)]

So? You mean egg shooting isn't part of the standard grade 10 Sex Ed curriculum in the States?

Oh, and if anybody is interested, the results of today's poll is now posted.

blnymph -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 1:46:57 AM)

term hasn't started yet here but:

what was the follow-up question?

[;)]

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 1:55:40 AM)

Yay!! Our first recruit!

Ask men the following:
Question 1
Do you consider a man being anally penetrated by a woman with a strap on to be indicative of  being gay?

Question 2 (only ask those who answer No to question 1)
Do you consider a man being anally penetrated by a woman with a strap on to be indicative of  being bisexual or having homosexual tendencies?

We started out just asking men, but then asked women as well. then we got some guys to ask men and women as well. Some very interesting results.

You don't have to ask women or get men to ask, those were really just done to satisfy curiosity.

xxblushesxx -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 7:33:08 AM)

So when another guy is asking the question, the guys are jumping on the gay wagon. When the women are asked by either girls or guys, their numbers stay pretty much the same.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 7:43:37 AM)

That seems to be the case. Kind of interesting, eh?.

xxblushesxx -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 7:47:43 AM)

It is! So the guys don't mind "taking one for the team" if they're talking to a woman (heck, maybe he'll score!) but their macho (ism, ness?) won't let them admit that to other men.

GreedyTop -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 7:59:08 AM)

~FR~

Heather... if it wouldnt be "suspicious" in the lights of modern day safety awareness, I'd do the survey myself at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design)...

but given my age, I'd be concerned about approaching guys (mainly) and to a lesser extent, the women..

I realize that generally the students ARE legally adults... but I dont really want to deal with campus cops wondering why someone my age is asking sexually explicit questions of the student body *sigh*

edited for major typing FAIL

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 8:17:29 AM)

I know of a few free survey programs that you might find useful, they come as part of my server host  package.  I can't remember which one I've used, but it was very useful for what it was used for.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/14/2011 8:30:09 AM)

Thanks Win. If this idea actually takes off and we get busy with surveys, then I'll definitely check those programs out.

FR
Shallowdeep, without even being asked, was nice enough to make this beautiful graphical representation of our first survey results.

Not only that Heather... They are teaching them NOTHING about the use of fishnet or corsets either! Do you believe that?  And the egg thing was a shame we lived under in the 70s... the sexy garment debacle is present day!

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/20/2011 10:32:24 PM)

The CMSS has it's second assignment!

Ask women the following question:
"If you were to learn that a man you were interested in sexually had been the victim of a male-on-male rape in his adult life, would that diminish your interest in him to any degree?"

Anybody who wants to participate feel free. We need to know what country you are in, the gender of the person asking the question, the number of people asked, how many said yes, how many said no, and any really funny responses.

Just cmail any results you get to me by Saturday around noon EST and we will publish the results in by Saturday evening.

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/21/2011 3:02:26 AM)

If I were you I would change the question to eliminate the word victim. Maybe "subjected to male-on-male rape". Victim has certain connotations and subjected to or similar is more neutral.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: CM Survey Service (9/21/2011 3:30:43 AM)

The OP of the thread it came from chose the question, not us. I'm not sure we should change it.[sm=dunno.gif]
