Hi there....only ever posted in the forums once i just have a bit of a strange predicament im stuck in and wanted to know if there was any advice available....

well here it goes.....a couple of months ago i was speaking with a Domme who i trusted but things went a bit wrong as i didnt have that much time available due to a home situation and things ended.As i met her on this site i know that she blocked me and i was okay with that...now it seems here profile has disappeared...that seems normal enough....however ive been speaking to another Domme recently and everything was fine untill she sent me some pictures...they really resembled past pictures the other Domme had sent me...the same figure and no face in the shots, then i realised she was the same age as well as living in the same place and having a similar profile.

I kinda freaked out and felt like an idiot although i have to confirmation that what i think is true. I dont really know what to do, i said to her that her pictures looked familiar and she either played dumb or honestly didnt know what i was talking about....please help me out if its possible.

It's not that uncommon that some people use multiple profiles when one situation doesn't work out. If the pictures look the same, they probably are the same. Trust your instinct. That fact that she blocked you after the first situation ended would be a red flag for me, unless it ended so badly that she felt she was being harrassed.

People grow and people change--if it was, She certainly didn't seem to mention past issues, you both may have a second chance--if it isn't, bury it and move on.

Sounds like an non-understanding, impatient, and rediculously immature woman.

I'd ditch her.

Watch for phonies, this site is overrun by them.

If she doesnt respect your suspition and problems she's not worth talking to, like most of the people here.

Dear beyourragdoll, Ladies and Gentlemen;

In many instances, there are those who make up many profiles and change their attitude and behavior as to hide behind them all and or respond in different screen names as to have a conversation--however, it is a conversation with themselves.

I do often wonder how many some have, as typing styles and pictures and quirky markers mirror the others.

It does seem to appear in your particular case, the same person.

In getting a high volume of e-mail and such, I frankly admit that I cannot remember people. I'm much better with faces, as so many change their screen names, it is hard to keep up.

Just make sure that you don't loose the drive to find your dominant. There are some out there lass, just waiting to be approached by you.

I suggest not trying to find someone on this site or any site.

Meet locals. its the only way, that way you can see if they're a nob off the hop.
That and if they actually show up to events, they're usually more dedicated to the cause than here.

Hell i bet half the women on this site are 50 year old greasy fat balding men pretending to be a busty blond from Ohio.

You make it sound like no one can find their mate here. I don't believe that showing up at events is definitely positively correlated to the level seriousness of the person in the lifestyle, but perhaps your experience is different.

I don't believe that meeting locals face-to-face is necessarily a better way to meet others. I have encountered flakey people in both venues. But I do agree that it is easier to hide one's true appearance and gender (in the case you mentiond). If you view this site as a tool for learning and interacting with others, it gets pretty high marks. But not everyone posts to the Message Boards and uses CM for the same reasons.

No, it's not the only way. Geesh... if I had to pick from the locals here, I think I'd rather remain alone! Instead, I met Master through a site similar to CM, and we've been together for six years.

All i'm saying is that your odds are better off site.
Phonies dont make much of a habbit of showing up to local events.
