No, only you could laugh with him, everyone else was laughing at him.

when Obama does, you just have to laugh AT him,

No, you laugh at him because you do not like having a black man as your president.
with that Harvard Law degree an all...

So you think everyone who went to yale speaks like dubya?

The economy was so much better under Bush.   A recession does not last 3 years.   Obama had time to fix it- and  it gets worst.  Foreclosures, homeless, jobless people.   and getting worst.   He also expanded the wars which kills even more people.

Perhaps it is a depression and not a recession.
How long do depressions last?

Easy:

Bush is a MAN, not a simpering pseudo intellectual fool. He actually did things instead of talking about things. He didn't apologize for America. He didn't bow down to foreign potentates and dictators. Was I totally happy with him? No. He could not bring himself to say we are at war with radical islam. That is a huge mistake. He also got into the spend spend streak. Although he warned us of a future problem with easy money mortgages, he did not do enough to overcome the glad handing and back slapping of bawny fwank and chris dodd. All that easy money for mortgages was so their constituents could buy homes (they could not afford). I'm not fond of having a sissy boy submissive as president and his wife as Mistress in Charge.

Happy days are coming though! January. 20th. 2013. Freedom. Gawd, the garbage to haul. OMG.

He managed to evade going to viet nam like a real man, didn't he.

He actually did things instead of talking about things.

Like getting us ass deep in debt with two wars of agrandisement.

He didn't apologize for America.

In your opinion "real men" do not apologize when they are wrong

He didn't bow down to foreign potentates and dictators.

In addition to bowing he did some kissing also.

Was I totally happy with him? No. He could not bring himself to say we are at war with radical islam.

Perhaps because that is the perogative of congress not the president...where were you when they were teaching 6th grade civics?

That is a huge mistake. He also got into the spend spend streak. Although he warned us of a future problem with easy money mortgages, he did not do enough to overcome the glad handing and back slapping of bawny fwank

Do you mean the sissy boy who did what your "alligator mouth canary ass man" could not do. You know get obl.

An article by Walt Harrington on W.

Worth a read, regardless of where you stand on some of his actions.  Kinda long, though, so have some time to actually read it, rather than skim through for quotes.

You'll see the partisanship in the comments.  They are worth a read as well.

I can do it in one word.

The word is: Not.

I miss nothing about that man. When he spoke it always made me feel like he was a puppet, and there was a hand up his ass. When Obama came in I was at first happy... now not so much as he seems to be allowed to go off and play while other people take care of the country, and they will take some photos to prove he is working later...

I am with the missing Clinton party. Bush was a wrongly idealistic idiot.

Dunno about that, but he did kiss and walk hand in hand with a Saudi prince.

The warmth, the slick wetness, the intoxicating pheremones, the way it quivers when it's nearing orgasm... I miss them all. But no worries, she'll be stoping by this weekend.

I am assuming youre not trying to gay bash here, so I will add to that, you are right about this. President Bush was tough enough to wear pink as they say.

He had a softer side and wasnt at all afraid to show it.

1. Wasn't embarassed to recognize that the USA is an exceptional country.
2. Had a clear and correct vision of the ME.
3. Downgraded Afghanistan when it was obvious that there was no winnable objective there, despite the pressure to capture bin Laden.
4. Understood economics and relied on the right people, until the bailout, and I doubt there is anyone who could have stood firm against his advisors and world opinion at that point.
5.Truly cared about all people and how is decisions affected them.
6. Wasnt Obama.

He should have stood firm despite advise or opinion. This would be my main criticism of Bush.

A good thing about GWB, he proved once and for all the hypocrisy of the GOP and the right wing. They'd never support a draft dodger who couldn't even fulfill his NG obligation until they did. They'd never support someone who drastically expanded the federal government until they did. They'd never support anyone who wanted to reduce our rights until they did.
