In an out of the way corner of R.I. there is a town called Woonsocket. The only thing it's had as a claim to fame in decades is that Richard Gere, famous actor and gerbil rancher, filmed a movie called Hachi there. But in that town, there are still many old folks of french extraction who use the phrases "There you" ("Come by my house after work there you"), and the phrase "side by each" ("I have three houses side by each").
