Status: offline 		Mr Obama has already laid the groundwork for his "out". He can, fairly gracefully, opt out for family reasons. If he were to do it now, it could set up a reasonable set of options. You may be right that his ego can't handle running off with his tail between his legs, or losing in an election, but this would be a viable, class option.

Sorry, but I must have missed where he laid any of that groundwork. In fact all of the girl's expensive vacations at taxpayers expense would make it seem like he's done the opposite.

Hey... you know what this framing of a Republican smear article DOES BRING UP though... is the UTTER LACK OF HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY OF YOUR POSTS OF LATE.

1)Steven Chapman is a PAID Republican hack and has been for years. So WHY ON EARTH, WITH A HUGE PUSH TO MAKE SURE ATTENTION IS DRAWN AWAY AND SOURED ON ANY INITIATIVE THE PRESIDENT INTRODUCES... Would anything this guy 'publishes' be worth a fucking dime, except for it's value as the lowest grade propaganda imaginable?

2)Why are you going two sources out from the original? Could it be that it's such a yawner that it needs a second booster sourcing with an "OH LOOK AT THIS!!!" demeanor. Cause his actual article is EASILY spotted as the usual douchebaggery?

3)If there is still any doubt left in the mind of any oxygen breathing reader, here's Steve's quotes on one of those right wing lunatic dogma pages that got published so often a few years back (for the record, I always supported their publication 100% It kept a lot of them from parking rental trucks in front of federal buildings IMHO):
