ORIGINAL: winspiritsbaby Ok, so I went back a couple of pages on the search and now I'm even more confused![sm=sigh.gif] What is the difference between heteroflexible and bisexual? The trouble is that debates about such terms tend to polarise, wsb. People cluster around either the position of 'this is what the term means and no other definition is acceptable', or 'labels schmabels - they just get in the way'. I've always vaguely thought of 'heteroflexible' as, basically, hetero with a hint of bi. But I've never used the term because 'bisexual' has always worked well enough for me. Or, at least, it used to until I realised that for lots of people 'bisexual' conjures up an imagine of someone who's equally happy forming the same level of intimacy with both sexes. I don't know what term such people would use for people like myself, who have the occasional bi-fantasy but never go searching for men and couldn't imagine a partnership with one.
