I pass my subs off as niece, daughter, personal assistent, or whatever the game of the day is. They can always refer to me as Sir in any situation. Though I do remember a few things screamed out in a moment of passion/pain/pleasure that had Master in them and will be with me to the end of my days. So Master is appropriate in the right circumstances where it won't raise eyebrows. Ah, glory days.

I really like to be called Sir. There is just something in it that turns something on somewhere inside of me. It works for vanilla or l/s settings.

I absolutely refuse to be called "Master" by a sub I'm dominant to

I correspond with a couple of subs who address me as "Master", and while I do cringe a bit, I work on the basis that it's intended as a mark of respect and put up with it.

But NOT ^^^ this ^^^

No "cringing" here. They are corrected by being told "I only allow my slaves to call me 'Master.'  You are not my slave until I say you are."

I agree with Lance, until they are mine, they should not call me by any title or name other than my own. I have been called sir or master more often then I can remember and most were by people in the vanilla world. Sir came from my military rank.

I prefer Sir or Daddy, though Sir is a lot more publicly acceptable. LOL

Different people like to be referred to by a particular name or title, some like Master, others Sir, some like Daddy. I'm curious what do you like to be called?

Particularly interested in any "titles" that might usable in vanilla settings.

Thanks,

Knot

"Mr. Silva". It is interesting when the one speaking is your slave. I answered with "you" (in Spanish there is a forman and a non-formal way, in German too, so she uses the formal and I answer with the informal, indicating superior hierarchy).
Milord, Sir, Daddy were also used, in different languages. If your age difference is high, "daddy" can be used in vanilla environments, as they think it is literal. Then you grab her ass. Surprise.

I always call Maater, Master in a vanilla setting i will use his given name.  Whenever i use his given name it does not sound right.  So he is Master and i  am always sweetheart.

Maestro is neutral sounding and means Master in italian and spanish.
Just please do refer to him as "my Sir". That drives me nuts, but I'm sort of old school
