I think many on the right want this generations Reagan or someone who can ignite their idealistic furor such as Obama did for the left. I think Romney is looking good for cross boundary draw. I think Perry can either get better or hang it up. I think Newt and Houseman could fire up the base, if they get the nomination and govern effectively as well. Cain, although he's not going to get the nomination, could energize the base for any of the others as a VP. In other words, I don't think it's all really that bad. Firm

You remember in the show 'West Wing' when John Goodman's character took over as president? Chris Christie in the white house would be life imitating art. I can see slobby tubby behind the podium saying "My only regret was we only got to kill the bastard once!!"
