Thanks Lucy.  I hadn't seen this.

This is good news to me.  I like Cain, based on what I know about him, but I didn't (and still don't) expect him to get the nomination.

But, this will give him some more heft, and attention, and even if he doesn't get the nomination, it increased the possibilities of him getting a position, or some of his ideas adopted.

Id only describe it as "rigged" if the candidate bought and distributed the tickets. But yes, thats how Fla works.

And, what's more I don't have alot of confidence in the intelligence of the voters anyway. They would vote for some movie star they like, probably mostly based on the charaters he had played.

Status: offline 		Straw polls are easily manipulated,much like on-line polls etc. The best at it has actually been Ron Paul. You pay admission to a lot of them, place your votes, your candidate wins.
