And the Republicans arent running around screaming, thats all in your head. Leftists are getting panicky, not because theyre all that worried about the economy since they think they can just raise taxes and print money and everything will be okay, but because its becoming obvious that they will be held to account for their handling of the economy and for the state of the nation, as they well should.
The Republicans are the grownups in the room, lecturing the frat boy Dems that there are limits to the credit cards and that these outrageous bills will one day come due. That we cant keep adding to the debt that future generations will have to repay forever, and that one day all these chickens are going to come home to roost.
Time to man up in other words, and time to quit this bullshit game of kicking the can further down the road.
