Status: offline 		So we've seen the blame all laid on Bush, and we've seen it blamed on bad luck, but the President has a new scapegoat now. He isn't the problem, it is all the rest of us. Americans have gotten soft, he says, but not to worry, he has a plan to get us back on track...

It isn't like Clinton left your economy in half as bad a mess as the chimp did, after all...

Maybe it's less acceptable because the Kenyan isn't eligible to be POTUS in the first place. Nevermind that "the chimp" didn't make the economy half as bad a mess during eight years as the Kenyan has in less than three years.

The problem here is that people so wish to assign blame when trying to find the reason why something is, and then that stops the solution phase and we go in circles.

He never said we have "gone" soft.

a great great country that had gotten a little soft and we didnt have that same competitive edge that we needed over the past couple of decades.. we need to get back on track.


I really see no ability for anyone to argue with that statement.
