So we've seen the blame all laid on Bush, and we've seen it blamed on bad luck, but the President has a new scapegoat now. He isn't the problem, it is all the rest of us. Americans have gotten soft, he says, but not to worry, he has a plan to get us back on track...

For Carter it was a "Crisis of Confidence", for Obama its "gone soft and lost the competitive edge". For both its an admission they dont know what the fuck they are doing.

If he's smart, he'll pull an LBJ and not run. Hillary throws her hat in the ring and the R side goes apeshit.

It won't happen that way though.

The morale will suffer until the beatings improve.

Why is it less acceptable for the Kenyan to blame stuff on the chimp than it was for the chimp to blame stuff on Clinton?
It isn't like Clinton left your economy in half as bad a mess as the chimp did, after all...

Thanks for your delightful contribution, Moon. Perhaps you would care to read more than the first few words of OP, and try again?

"The chimp" is and was far more of an adult than you, or Obama. Cite one instance if you can of what you claim here.

Hint - you cannot, because thats a lie on your part, you just make things up as you go along.

Actually I agree with him. Our competitive edge was gone.

Maybe it's less acceptable because the Kenyan isn't eligible to be POTUS in the first place. Nevermind that "the chimp" didn't make the economy half as bad a mess during eight years as the Kenyan has in less than three years.

At least things are getting close to the solution phase. If the competitive edge is less than it used to be, the causes need to be identified. The problem here is that people so wish to assign blame when trying to find the reason why something is, and then that stops the solution phase and we go in circles.

E pluribus unum.

There are nearly as many examples of chimp blaming clinton as the lies you tell here constantly.

Right, thats helpful, lets hold hands and sing kumbaya then, as we pretend that no one and nothing is to blame for the situation we are in. For the fact that China is far more business friendly than the USA...

Couldnt agree more Master Orion. I heard the man say decades.

He never said we have "gone" soft.

a great great country that had gotten a little soft and we didnt have that same competitive edge that we needed over the past couple of decades.. we need to get back on track.

I really see no ability for anyone to argue with that statement.

Perhaps I should have written "the rapist"  instead of Clinton, in keeping with the leftist style of showing respect for the office

I do believe in the past 20 years or so, there have been at least one Democratic administration as well. So Im not sure how this is pointing a direct finger at Bush.
