The Kerchers must be very sad, and now they will never have closure. Their daughter is gone, and Knox will be on the cover of People next week. Things are going to be way different for her than they were for Casey Anthony. For what it is worth, when my son first started at UW, there were still people there who knew Knox. The ones he talked to seemed not to believe she was guilty.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't see anything bdsm related in the whole sad fiasco.

A non-consentual lurid drug-fueled sex game. I don't believe they ever maintained the victim participated willingly in any of this, did they?

I don't think they ever explored that question, to any degree. The police seemed pretty bought in to their version of events, from what I read. My apologies for putting the link in the "wrong" category, however.

No worries, I just wanted to point out Meredith Kercher was murdered for whatever reason, and that this wasnt just some sex game gone wrong.

A man from the Ivory Coast was convicted of the murder. I read that there was plenty of evidence that linked him directly to the crime scene. I never read anything about Amanda or her ex b/f being in any way linked with this man. The prosecutor's scenario of Amanda, her b/f of 6 days, and a man they did not know killing Amanda's room mate in a drug fueled sex game gone too far always seemed exceptionally implausible especially given the number of stab wounds that were reported.

There really wasn't enough to convict Amanda Knox. Unlike with Casey Anthony who is breathing now for no other reason then the jury didn't have the balls to "execute a young girl" who had no compunction about killing her baby because she couldn't be bothered doing her job as a parent.
