There's more than one way to impede LE if said LE wants to have a little 'fun'.

Just being there with a TV camera puts them on best behavior.

The presence of several "Credible witnesses" will keep everyone on their best behavior. If that is 'impedence' so be it.

Bullies (as I said earlier it's a tolerated minority of LE) hate the light. They also hate credible witnesses and if I was on a jury and a Marine in dress blues was on the witness stand said "Yes, Your Honor, I saw the defendent tazer and pepper spray a person that wasn't resisting in any way" I can't think of a more credible witness.

ex marines in thier uniforms impedeing law enforcement is the OP.

You guys can make up/project whatever you like....

So, if a citizen - military, ex-military or civilian - prevents a law enforcement officer from committing an illegal act by standing between the law enforcement officer and the law-abiding citizen that law enforcement officer wants to illegally attack - that's "impeding law enforcement"?

Or, perhaps, you believe that anytime a law enforcement officer attacks a citizen - that attack is automatically "legal" because the attacker is a law enforcement officer?

You obviously know very little about the marine corps.

it would be the first one. However ordering some to stop an illegal act, such as the blockage of a bridge or a private bussiness, and then physically stopping the crime them is not illegal.

At times an illegal amount of force is used in the act, which is the role of a jury to decide. not a vigilante on the street.

Ex marines are not judges and juries. they, nor do you, decide what is illegal.

Hill I do not know why you want to project onto the OPs quote. The ex Marine clearly said what he as going to do, and that he wants others to join him.

Marines have every right in the world to attend and participate, but NOT IN THIER UNIFORMS

He said WHAT he was going to do. He didn't say HOW.

I'm simply postulating a HOW that would be legal by the UCMJ and very damn effective.

Still murky. This is quite arguably not a partisan or even non partisan political activity. National Guard while not actively on duty have no such prohibition that I can see.

For all the jabs, jokes, put downs and berating... this movement is making many people nervous, even MSM.

The point would be lost without the uniform, my impression is that being arrested and charged is part of the plan.

You would think so, but apparently not. It didn't seem to register when i posted it back in post 23. I guess they just don't want to know, it's so much more fun to just speculate wildly. Maybe it will catch their notice when somebody comers along and repsosts the link in a page or two.
