This is aimed at everyone, not just the Domme's out there, but the Doms, and the subs. Its just a general question and I wasn't sure where to post it.

Does D/s romance exsist? I have 0 real experience when it comes to BDSM but in my mind what I want most is a Domme who is also my partner. A lover as well. I want to serve someone out of love not only respect.
I want to know if anyone has/has ever had something like this.
Does it exsist?

It exists.

xxblushesxx -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 10:10:12 AM)

Of course it does!

Definitely, my first D romanced me, it was the best of the D/s and normal romance combined. I often think I was 'seduced' into submission. There were bubble baths and roses and quiet dinners... there was also lying, cheating, and in the end a complete lack of trust.

Romance is nice, but it doesn't cure the things that can go wrong in any relationship unfortunately.

Yes, there's romance. Hand holding, candlelit dinners, "I love you"s....definitely!

Yes! Check out Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns: The Romance and Sexual Sorcery of Sadomasochism

Not for me specifically, but for lots of people, yes!

I've got it now.

HeatherMcLeather -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 1:53:28 PM)

It exists. For me there would and could be no D/s without it.

YSG -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 1:54:33 PM)

Does D/s romance exist?

Of course it does.  But just like in the vanilla world, it can be difficult to find.

Think about how many people there are out there in the vanilla world who are struggling to find "Mr. Right" or "Ms. Right".  Well, the population that is involved with BDSM is much smaller than the general population.  So you're taking the same bad odds that you have of finding a vanilla partner, only you're now fishing in a much smaller pool.  See where the problem lies?

But that shouldn't be a deterrent.  Just understand that you may have to work a little harder than you would if you were merely seeking a vanilla romance.

Madame4a -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 4:50:52 PM)

It exists for me... I do have it all but it is NOT easy; all relationships, particularly multifaceted ones, require 'work' although it doesn't feel like work.

Endivius -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 8:51:16 PM)

Ofcourse there is romance. I often play music and speak softly into thier ears when beating them the most savavgely. Hell, on aniversaries I even let them have an opinion. [:D]

BurntKitty -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 9:03:57 PM)

Absolutely. My sadistic sweetheart often hugs & kisses me "just because." And when he's slapping my face & choking me, he tells me how much he loves me.* Hell, he even made a paddle with 2 wooden heart cutouts. Now I can wear his heart on my tush.

* At least I think that's what he says. It's tough concentrating on the words with his deep growl and the blood pulsing in my ears.

Of course it does. Why just last week I told her how much I love her while I was whipping her cunt

Yes...

BKSir -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/5/2011 10:19:45 PM)

Absolutely. I wouldn't take someone as my pet if the other connection wasn't there as well. Not to mention friendship and intellectual discourse too.
