This is aimed at everyone, not just the Domme's out there, but the Doms, and the subs. Its just a general question and I wasn't sure where to post it.

Does D/s romance exsist? I have 0 real experience when it comes to BDSM but in my mind what I want most is a Domme who is also my partner. A lover as well. I want to serve someone out of love not only respect.
I want to know if anyone has/has ever had something like this.
Does it exsist?

Definitely, 5 years along I loved my slave and she loved me.

The OP is asking about a real life situation, not the fantasy you are purporting.

SpanishMatMaster -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 3:02:38 AM)

And again: For everybody who wants to contact my former slave, contact with me and I will proved the contact data for her. Defamation is a very sad thing.

myotherself -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 3:08:06 AM)

Wow - you'd give away personal contact details of your ex, just to prove a point?

That is NOT classy. Not at all. [:'(]

xxblushesxx -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 3:08:32 AM)

Unless she has a humiliation fetish! [:D][;)]

Sheesh!

Sheesh!

... or she is proud of it and would be happy to explain with all detail, as it was when she walked five years along with my name in a heart and "I will obey ~ I am yours" tatooed on it. On the arm. Completely visible. For everybody, including all colleagues.
But not to prove a point. To correct a defamation.
And bow, better, back to topic. I answered the OP, I retire from this thread.

lizi -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 4:01:09 AM)

Yes it exists in the manner you've described. My relationship isn't anything unusual, we have love for each other and live mostly a vanilla life with each other which includes romance much of the time - that is what we're interested in and find it fulfilling. We see each other on the weekends, our week is full of sappy emails and phone calls. Since we're adults and have had relationship failures in our lives we find the romance aspect of things important and try to be careful yet proactive about things this time around. He compliments me often and makes me feel cherished. I do the same. We wear our hearts on our sleeve for each other.

thishereboi -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 4:34:23 AM)

Yes it does

For future reference, my intuition tells me that you'd be safe with the section called "General BDSM Discussion"

To the question - Sure, it exists.

lunaticlorraine -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 10:47:41 AM)

Well I guess my next question is how to find it. But I doubt anyone could tell me that as meeting the right person is never easy.

Madame4a -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/6/2011 2:16:02 PM)

[:)]

be a partner, if you want a partner... be a girlfriend if that's what you want... be a great and wonderful D/s partner if that's what you want...

bottom line, be the kind of person that someone wants to be in a relationship with...

for me that's .. independent, intelligent, hot, interested in a D/s relationship and a partnership, and someone whose values complement mine or are similar... and someone who rides a motorcycle is best...

and don't look -- meet people make friends... be open, but don't look...

AzPetGirl -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/7/2011 7:53:43 PM)

I would just like to caution you to be very careful with your heart out there in this lifestyle.
It's not always happy endings (I mean that in the "clean" way...lol)

My first Dom went out of his way to be hurtful to me on an emotional level, and I was new and naive and trusted him.
There are many predatory types of people in the BDSM lifestyle,
so I would simply advise you to "go with your gut" when you're with a new Dom....and listen to your instincts.
I didn't....and I suffered for it.

The Dom i was involved with I later found out was the type of man who had to psychologically "split" himself from his sub in play,
in other words.....he was not able to unleash and do his full "Dom thing" (all the humiliation, degradation, etc)
with someone he CARED about....
so he used me - someone he had NO feelings for, so he was free to do his thing without guilt over it.

Unfortunately I didn't realize this till I was already falling for him,
I don't know if other Dom's out there ever feel that way....like they can't be as cruel, or sadistic as they'd like to be with a sub they care about...
so they reserve their "harsher" treatment for a woman who doesn't mean anything to them, so they don't have to worry about emotionally hurting someone they don't care about.

Personally....I think my ex was just a twisted fuck.....but we live and learn'
I know I did.

Just be careful out there....

MistressLilliana -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/12/2011 1:42:17 PM)

Indeed it does. I was lucky enough to have my best friend turn into my sub so there was already a connection there and of course romance once we were in a relationship. Unfortunately he had to move away but we're still good friends and he still cares about me, to the point of hoping I'll find a pet that will treat me as he did. I know not all relationships in this lifestyle turn out this way but this is also why I am so cautious when looking for a new pet. I never rush into anything and if they can't handle taking time to get to know one another before meeting then obviously they aren't meant to be mine and I doubt, if they are in such a rush, that there would be much romance.

mons -> RE: Does it exsist? (10/14/2011 3:05:32 AM)

oh yes it happens, along with jealousy and angry,
and me kicking him out of my life, he was a nut!!!!
oh wait they even try to come back, as if i would
take him back!

mons (  oh yes i did not beat him hard enough)/////

Not only that, also - in my not so humble opinion - very irresponsible to have a tattoo done, especially a visible place, if the relationship is not absolutely stable, seems more of an ego trip of the dominant than anything else, and considering that the relationship went wrong, I would consider it the least of the duties of the former dominant to make sure the tattoo is being taken care of - because I can't imagine that a future dominant will be pleased to see that tattoo on her.

Back to the question of the OP, of course it exists, even without permanent markings of fleeting relationships.

i concur completely. just look at johnny depp, saddled with that fucking "wino forever" on his arm. [:D][:D]

Well, he managed to change it to Wino forever from "Winona Forever" (or wanna ride her) so it's a small blessing, how about all the musicians she shagged? Seems a fuck with her was the kiss of death for the career, so Johnny got away easy, or he just had too much talent... Think about Tommy Lee who has Pammies name tattooed on his member, I bet that goes down a treat with everybody who's remotely serious, or Nikki Sixx who let Kat von Tramp ink him, but hey, with all the ink on their skin, maybe people get so confused with the patterns that they don't pay attention...

Personally I would NOT EVER ink the name of anybody on my skin and really think long and hard before I would allow anybody to ink my name on their skin, if they fuck off or misbehave, it will so fall back on me, not to mention the responsibility.....
