If that were true, I don't believe this thread would exist. In other words, if the OP didn't give a flip, why would she start the thread saying she was leaving?

Exactly. It makes me smile that this thread was created. As some have said, just leaving is so much classier, with maybe letting people know on the profile (as I did) or via private message to let friends know. The OP just reeks of LOOK AT ME! while jumping up and down.

Classy shmashy, who cares? We are a retarded bunch of coconuts. Some of us like or dont this one, some of us like or dont that one. Some of us think it is better to blah blah fucking blah. It is a forum. People give their opinions, others misconstrue or not. Some people create other profiles to say things they would not say with their original profile. It is funny. It is so funny when people act like this is some sort of religion and want to enforce rules and restrictions. The people who own this place can take care of what needs to be taken care of the way they want to deal with it. If you don have a brain of your own... Even if someone did say they would beat the crap out of someone exposing them to their kids so the freak what, it is cyber, online, keypad typing out words. If it happened in real life it would be dealt with out there.

When have we ever seen someone banned... not awaiting approval... when it was over one thread, one post or even a couple? How many times have people seen something before others could and then all of a sudden it is gone, most not knowing what even happened? How many know what goes on when someone says... I emailed them and they wouldn't reason with me or help me or do whatever it was that they wanted? How do WE know what goes on where we cannot see? How do some know what is said or done in every thread and what might be missing?

Name one person that has been banned for one or a couple posts? Those that have been banned have been constant sources of some trouble for a long time and sometimes far too long.

When you have a post removed... and I know this from experience... when you go to far... you get a little gold letter. If you are really bad and get a bunch of those letters, is when you get an awaiting approval. What the hell has to happen to get a ban?

If there is a good source that says you're about to be banned... I don't believe it for one moment. From what I have seen, the mods don't make idle threats. They give warnings. After a warning... something seen, not seen, behind the scenes... may have something to do with the awaiting approval... so I have to wonder just how bad it would be to be banned. Actually banned, not threatened/warned. I see no awaiting approval or ban for the op. and if they actually had one of either... this thread wouldn't be here.

Personally I love the minds, creativity and fun of the young ladies mentioned. Do they cross lines? They sure as fuck... that was sure as FUCK do. Then their protectors jump in and all hell breaks loose. To tell you the truth... if I were a mod... I sure would want some to stop creating a bunch of work. We see a post or thread gone. How many posts are gone? How many letters sent? What all is involved with keeping these boards however they are to be kept and can be kept? How many warnings do you get? Is this type of post worse than this other type?

Sure... there is some projected unfairness that abounds around here, from mods to members. There is some ugly, some intolerable to someone, some attack, some favorites... but all in all... what we see and what we don't see, all has a place and until we all know the facts and all of them... who are we to say? We see darkly and partially.

Will I miss the ladies? Sure, sometimes, other times, not so much. I think this is grandstanding... kind of like a political war and actually think it was to prove how much they would be missed... making a statement and allowed for whatever reason the mods allowed it. I've seen far less removed. Hell, I was removed yesterday. lol What I will not miss is what I wouldn't miss when any... ANY member goes out to protect their own... and causes complete and utter train wrecks, not of the laugh producing kind, which most of us are guilty of participating on at some point or time. There are few innocents here.

If anyone was to be banned... they started a thread that went multiple pages and it remained... I guess some source wasn't reliable or it was a warning and this could be seen as the last straw or allowed. I guess we in the dark will know when we do or don't see any more posts. The thing is... when friends get into trouble and then the war comes into it all and then there are multiple threads expressing how upset some of the friends are and coming to the defense or coming to whine, agitate, whatever... one does have to wonder about a few things. Like maybe there is damn good reason for whatever might be going on.

So if the ladies go... I will miss you on some days when you weren't out of control and since you brought it all up, I will comment. Your fan club that made it even worse and the threads all about your world... your right way... and name calling... won't be missed. Call me or someone whatever... but if you get called on something, don't start threads highlighting it all in an attempt to do one damn thing whatever it might be. You simply don't know when to stop, this thread proves it.

And I would say this to anyone or group that I saw doing something like this, whatever fence they were sitting on, standing behind or trying to knock down.

I don't know what the issue is, but heck, if everyone started cussing at the beginning and end of each paragraph I think the void would be filled.
As far as contribution goes, what I saw were people who had a definite mindset and the vocal spunk (literally) to push the point home.
It seems to be acceptable for females, I haven't noticed that males get the same leeway.
Modern times.

To me the ONLY people who would know a possible BAN was going to occur would be the mods.  If anyone else knows and can be considered by anyone to be a "reliable" source, to me there should be a raised eyebrow that the mods are talking to people about what actions they are taking or considering against posters and i have it on good authority from mods in the past they they aren't ALLOWED, to talk to other people about what is taking place with a poster.  Pretty much those words were used.

So by that logic, the reliable source is a mod.  I can't see a Mod indicating to someone they will be banned and them continue to allow them to swarm over the message boards unmoderated.

To me, if they were contemplating banning someone, they would maintain that person's status as moderated until a final decision is made.

Just a thought.

Sounds like a gossip circle to me - one person says something, the next hears it a bit differently and so on,and so on........

As for the girls?- i am constantly amazed at Heathers intelligence and articulation. If she is indeed 18, then my hats off to her, her intelligence and her education. As for the OP - I could do without the language, but she doesn't strike me as being any better or any worse than anyone else on the site. When i"m tired, i skip her posts because i can't be bothered editing , and tend not to miss much, but i am under no illusion that she doesn't do the same with me.

however, eviscerating in front of kids is a bit much - but cripes, this is the internet - if she could reach through the monitor and do it, i would be a bit more worried. Sounds like posturing to me.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Ive been thrown off these boards a few times ... but they gave me month stints.

Ive been thrown off FET for a year.

So havent a few of my "friends" ...

Ive toned it down some ... but the group here isnt half as bad as some of those cunts over on FET .. some of those people make me want to puke.

As long as any poster remains within TOS, they are not banned. I think that we have proven that we believe the rights of all posters to be here by our actions when other nicks came on board and threatened us if some posters were not removed, in fact, the OP being one of them.

I have not read the thread, but my statement remains, as long as posters remain within TOS, they are not banned. Whether they choose to remain in compliance, as always, is up to them.

The reply was something along the lines of "... and the perpetrator would have run away by the time the police arrived"

And I responded by saying that if someone exposed themselves in front of my children, then they could be really, really sure that they'd still be there when the police arrived.

The above posting by him is accurate to what I remember as well. At the time I saw his post I left the thread thinking he meant he would detain the offender till the authorities arrived

His post accords with my recall also, and yours with my understanding of his meaning.

K.

I have had to do some heavy cleaning on this thread: So, if your post was pulled, it was because you referenced a thread/post that was pulled somewhere else, or you referenced a thread/post that was pulled on this thread for the previous reason cited.

I do not believe the OP had that thread in mind when starting this thread, nor have they come back here and posted since opening this thread other than to say another poster would not be posting, but other threads/posts that have been pulled for whatever reason were in fact pulled. Discussing them here in the manner that the pulled posts haveare additional TOS violations and I would ask everyone to stop doing so. Thank you.

Good posting Lockit. :)

I agree with most of it, except that if "the girls" leave, I wouldn't miss them. Not that this is news. ;)

Uh huh - and I'm sure your sexual preference doesn't play into it at all right?  They're just "entertaining?"

Random stupidity and holier than though self inflated twits are generally not entertaining. Unless of course I can torment them. Most though, are not very good at playing the game so....it's short lived at best.

This was an elaborate way of saying that you get outsmarted by others.

Ah, so others must first prance around like a harlequin before they can create an "Epic Fuck" thread?  Seems like a 'wank' topic to me in the most black-and-white terms - but I'm a self-inflated dummy.

Of course they care.  Have you seen them defend themselves like you just offended their religion?  They simply do not stop no matter how much holes and logical fallacies you point out in their arguments.

Face facts:  they're a gimmick that people are becoming tired of.
