Hey, I didnt say anyone was innocent. Nor am I protecting any of the 4. Hannah and I have our issues and we both have been vocal about them to each other.

Well calling other people on things you have done as well... is rather... what did you call it?

And some did exactly that. How about a place where... the buck stops here.... I do believe thats why so many threads have been locked recently. The repeated personal attacksm the name calling, the bullying.

I do believe that is the point the Mods are trying to get too as well.

Who's Maggie? I don't believe we've been properly introduced. :D

she's my furbaby. Poor thing's been a wreck since I've been back on her due to random bursts of laughter.

Perhaps keeping her in a separate area of your living space would be kinder. Poor critter! ;)

She's a cute one. :)

Just out of curiosity....

I see people hammering the "4" for being up front and in peoples' faces.

I also see people making snide, nasty comments to each other about the "4".

Can this get more highschool-ish?

I'm sure it can!

You would never be like that would you? Come on Tazzy... no one is innocent here. Some just call better attention to themselves than others.

Yay! (Again) For Lockit. :)

Hey come onnnnnnnn I live in a 2 1/2 room apartment, where's she supposed to go? Yeah she's a cutie and she knows it.

Regarding what was posted elsewhere in the thread, it never occurred to me that they might leave and say nothing, letting us think it was due to being banned. That's kinda ingenious.

#1: never back down, stand up to any fucker that wants to tell you what or how you should live. question everything, absolutely fucking everything. distrust any and all forms of authority, they are in it for themselves, not for you. remember, you're all fucking peasants as far as they can see.

Thanks for the polemic, but let's face it Hannah, you're not exactly "Evita" or "Joan of Arc" are ya? and even if you were banned, it would fall a fuck of a long way short of martyrdom. It's not the "authorities" that will lead to your being banned, it's your own behaviour. And much as I scoff at "oldies" talking down to "youngsters", you can totally trust me when I tell you that there is very little you can tell me about how much I should or shouldn't "trust authority" - I was a punk and a member of the anti-nazi league in the 1990's. I've been spat at by mounted policement during the day, fought with members of the BNP during the afternoon and then been spat at by Captain Sensible in the evening while moshing my socks off, pilled-out of my head. Been there, done that, got the Doc Martens.

But we're not talking about revolution, class war, or bringing down the system. The issue is your participation on these boards.

If you don't want to be under moderation, or to face some more severe sanction, it really shouldn't be beyond your wit to figure out what to do.

I'd be sorry to see you banned, because it would be a real failure on your part. All you need to do is summon up the necessary smarts to conduct yourself within TOS, how fucking hard is that?

As it happens, on those occasions when you've thrown "fucktard" and other expletives at me, I've found it more amusing than annoying, and when your nastier posts are removed I'm always disappointed - I think they shouldn't be removed, I think people should be able to read them and judge for themselves. I'd certainly never ask for any of your posts to me to be removed. But I also agree with you from time to time as well.

There are lots of people on these boards who disagree with me, and with whom I disagree - but even though I might fundamentally disagree with someone's point of view, I can always respect someone who carries him or herself with a little bit of dignity.

In my opinion it's a real mark of character when you can disagree vigorously with someone without having to descend to levels of complete obnoxiousness - And you can still invest your responses with plenty of snark if you want to make a point.

So I really would like to continue to agree with you when I think you're onto something, and to disagree vigorously with you when I think you're talking shit, and I really look forward to being told by you when I'm talking shit (and that really has been known).

But the choice really is yours... and I'm going to assume that you have the intelligence that's needed in order to do your thang on the boards without violating TOS, so it really, really is a choice.

I <3 you. :)

I loved the whole post and agree with you ML but especially this part. I think the only way for people to get a complete picture of someone is to see the good, bad, and ugly of that person. We are all judged by what we post here and it should be ALL of it - except TOS violations of the worst sort of course.

Actually, not much of a problem with "3." The youngest are much more adult than the oldest.

And that is the whole point, isn't it ML? The idea that being an "anarchist" is simply disagreeing with everything and that the only purpose is to stir up shit whenever possible is pretty senseless. Wanting change and having the ability and intelligence to affect change are two totally different things.

I do agree that leaving the posts would serve a better purpose than removing them. Removing them takes away the ability to see the full picture. The purpose, of course, is to slap the offender's wrist and hope that they learn their lesson and figure out how to behave like an adult. For some, that is just not possible.

But her ability to normally (although not always) disagree and state her point like an intelligent young adult makes all the difference in the world.

And I bet many people here have thrown my name around negatively without it being seen period by my eyes.

This topic has pretty much encouraged people to think and reflect on this particular poster.  She invited it, now she copes with it.

I prefer the "in your face" with the ability to admit they are wrong.

Yeah, but I had to endure 3 lots of fractured ribs, the loss of 3 teeth, god knows how many bruises, and several arrests before I clocked on to that notion so I'm no smarter than the next bear.

I think a lot of us were like that when we were young. Although I didn't have to suffer physical injuries to figure it out, lol. Maturity is figuring out the difference and then taking the steps to affect the changes that you want.

Oh man... I was refraining... I really was, until this one. Look at your last post or so... you come in calling people on what they are doing that you have done, then you point out what the mods might want and the buck stopping here.. then go on to post and join on in... and then... you like it when in your face and admitting when wrong. The irony of it has me breathing funny, not to mention... rolling my eyes and laughing.

Admitting when wrong... yeah... I can see that means something to ya!

And something that is most often displayed when you are much more selective when using the word "fuck" so it still holds merit or impact when you use it in your sentences.

Think of it like this... if myself, or even you were to use "fuck" every third word in an argument then another person would notice we are obviously upset/becoming unhinged.  This is how Hannah always is perceived.  I don't even want to bother arguing with her half the time since it looks like a businessman coming to words with a homeless woman that collects cans.

An "anarchist?"  More of a joker to me.

I think the topic (if there was one) was the OP saying goodbye in advance, and wanting responses to that. If it is possible to get back to that topic, that would be wonderful. It may not be, we shall see......:)
