The government has a duty to PROVIDE employment for its citizens, when it reneges on that duty it can expect a backlash like we saw in London, the protesters were ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, if it takes a few smashed premises for people to WAKE UP to the way capitalism is treating its people monstrously and is inherently an UNFAIR system then all the better, if a group got together i would loot some businesses myself but NOT on my own you need PEOPLE POWER to do it and in ireland unfortunately we are too apathetic kevin

It is the responsibility of the citizen to seek work, to make his own opportunities. All the government should do is not impede that excessively.

i have my private income. i bought a flat in better times which im currently paying off in addition to TAX to a STATE that has done ZILCH for me and which does tonnes more for others who do not deserve such luxury, to take but one example there is simply no justification for an inconsequential island on the periphery of Europe to have both a President and a Prime Minister and to pay both salaries that are more in accordance with monarchies than republics, put simply there is no justification why Enda Culshie Kenny from the backend of nowhere is paid more than the most influential leader in the Western World, Barack Obama, in the largest and most significant country economically and internationally that is America kevin

i worked bloody hard for over twenty years in school to get the best possible education i could, yes i do fucking deserve a decent salary out of that, but like everything else, the State looks after a few grubby politicians, self aggrandising developers and rapacious bankers who waste our money and then expect man and Woman taxpayer to foot the bill while they hold on to their bonuses, which are utterly undeserved as they proved themselves totally incompetent and corrupt and their flash jobs despite making a pigs ass of everything, while the underlings take the blame and pay the price for their ineptitude kevin

There are a lot of kids I know personally who have shit lives, who work damn hard and they're NEVER going to get to University. So what are they going to do? They're going to WORK their way up the ladder. More than a few are joining the Army in the hope of furthering their education and being trained to do something useful in the civilian world. Others are taking minimum-wage jobs and studying in their own time. You've had it easy, supported by parents who seem to think the same way you do. You have a degree in English? Then do something with it! Train to be a teacher. Adults or kids - you will find a job. There is a shortage of English teachers. But I guess you aim higher than that, huh? You have been pampered and cossetted for too fucking long. If your parents had any idea of parenting an adult, they'd have told you to pay them rent, and find a job to do that. But I guess it seems the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
