If you cared for the wider economy would you not take a job or at least make a real effort to look for a decent one. I have no problem with peole who are unemployed. The social welfare system is a real necessity as a safety net but it appears you haven't much bothered to get off the dole at all. I assume you must be on social welfare and every year people like yourself take a great deal from the economy at a time when it has to borrow hugely just to keep everything afloat.
BTW the new government is cleaning up the system of greed and golden handshakes. It is in part the fault of the majority of Irish tax payers that they kept voting in those corrupt bastards Fianna Fail during the boom years.

So in other words you complain about others leeching off the tax payer but think it is OK to take from the tax payer a considerable sum for an indefinite period that could be a very long time (the duration of the recession)?
Assuming you were in college until your early twenties and have been unemployed for over a year, it sounds like you have only contributed tax for at most eight years of your life in total. BTW you probably got your degree paid for and a generous grant on top of that! 
BTW I wonder why my second last post on here which mentioned Boyd-Barrett and company was deleted as it wasn't insulting except for calling the politician Mick Wallace a name?
