That may well seal the deal. Its going to make fundraising much more difficult for the others.

Did he use the terms "Coven" or "Cult Leader" in his endorsement?
Oh, and was he eating during said endorsement.

Im pretty sure hes gonna be around for a while

That's what the Democrats said about Gray Davis. He was a rising star, until we fired his ass as Governor of CA. I think Rubio has a lot of promise and potential, but he needs more seasoning in the big leagues.

Apology accepted, Hannah. [:)]

Rubio has already made it very clear he will not run for Vice President

He announced he wouldn't run for President but I missed him passing on the VP slot as well.  Shame for the GOP - he's just what they need.  A lot more intelligent and dynamic than most of their current field.

I am not sure Romney is a lock by any stretch. Marco Rubio still looms large and John Thune may jump in. And there are a number of Republican Governors ho may came in on their dark horse.

Rubio strikes me as jockeying for the VP nod.  Florida is a vital swing state, and it's way past time the GOP acknowledge Hispanics.

Thune?  SD is a GOP lock, and has few votes.

Rubio has already made it very clear he will not run for Vice President

That will change come the convention.

Jesus, they are cutting them down like sugarcane in 1860's Calcasieu Parish.

There won't be a one of them fucksticks unbesmirched then.

He said it in a conference at the Aspen Institute about a week ago, but those in office almost never say they are interested in VP until it becomes a done deal, because it hurts their re-election chances if they don't get the VP nod.

Well of course not, Ron. Since there's no possible reason to vote FOR Obama, hatred and demonization are the only tools in the box.

How does that big pile of shit, on top of what used to be called liberal values, taste?

You're likely right, but I hate the gameplaying and intrigue behind the political election system.

Bullshit Rich, one look at a Republican debate is more than enough reason to cast a vote to re-elect this President. Before anyone on the right starts carping about any perceived failures of this President it would behoove you guys to put forth an actual viable candidate.I haven't seen one come forward under the Republican brand as of yet.

Masta808 -> RE: Chris Christie about to endorse Romney (10/12/2011 9:29:35 PM)

The guy the vetoed tax cuts for the rich aka job creators is not endorsing a candidate who has it own name attached to socialized medicine. Really GOP? thats who you want want to run against Obama?
